Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release four classic Batman films on 4K Blu-ray: Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns, and Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. All four titles will be available for purchase on June 4.

A four-disc collection will also be available for purchase on September 17.

All four films will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead.

Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman & Robin will be available on 4K Blu-ray Combo Pack for $41.99 SRP and feature a 4K Blu-ray disc with the feature film in 4K with HDR and DIGITALLY REMASTERED Blu-ray disc of the films.

The singles and the four-film collection will include collectible packaging with new art designed in stunning glossy retro colors reminiscent of the 1980's and 1990's era when the films were originally released in theaters. I sold them for a few quid to webuybooks the other week, I cannot wait to get these UHDs in and never unwrap them.

Still: God Bless Warners. If this was an MGM, Disney or Fox franchise then we'd be shit out of luck.

At least the box isn't UGLY!

I bought the BD collection box because the individuals had that ugly BLADE (Wesley Snipes)-esque font for each title. Looks like the inviduals are still very ugly. Too bad there were no good SteelBooks for these titles. BATMAN FOREVER almost got a good one, but it still used the wrong font.

It does amuse me that they used Clooney's silhouette for the box set...

The upside is that they finally got rid of that crappy ass Wire metal fence font they've been using for the series since the Blu-rays.

And, I think I only want the first two, too much over the top goofiness on last two.

It's the same promo shot that they've cut and pasted onto the Batman & Robin UHD cover.

I'm not sure that I have much interest in getting Batman and Robin, but that box set looks nice and color me impressed with the cover art. I guess I'm easy to please.

I have very fond memories of watching the first movie in the theaters but Batman Returns is really the only one that I want. Gonna get the box set anyways, obviously.

All in for the boxset. Since SRP is $41.99 for each film, i wonder how much the box will go for.

I am genuinely excited to revisit all of these. Yes, ALL of these. If done right, even B&R will look so pretty. Speaking of which, I mentioned this is the 1989 thread, but why no love for Uma on the cover!?! Her as Poison Ivy, for the most part, might be one of the only things I truly enjoy about the film. Maybe she said no to using her likeness when they first introduced these
