FYI, Target has Bumblebee 4K for $19 after 20% off Cartwheel and free $5 Gift Card, then of course another 5% off with RedCard. I got it for $17ish because they PM’d Amazon’s $28 price before the discounts.

Do any of the copies not have the comic book? I hate the warped cases with the heated shrink wrap. And I hate steelbooks.

Bumblebee plays better on the second watch with adjusted expectations. It isn’t a “Bay” Transformers movie and the tone/pacing shift from previous movies is tough to adapt to the first time through. Very much a teen drama and very corny bad guy moments. 6.5/10.

After watching this, I can't believe any producer of this franchise would want to continue on with Bay's trash.

The fact that they said they want future Transformers films to feature more 'Bayhem' is an absolute travesty--and likely shows the success of Bumblebee just had more to do with the talents of Travis Knight more so than it did with the producers learning their lessons after Bay's ridiculous attempts at these films.

The action in this film, while nothing particularly inventive, were at least directed with a clear and simple sense of fluidity, that allowed the viewers to appreciate all of the spectacle on the screen. I'd much rather take these more personal, constrained--yet still well choreographed set pieces--over the ridiculously over the top and repetitive actions sequences that Bay puts together.

Also, the heart of this film lies within the simple, nostalgic and formulaic, but still 'cute' coming of age story, focused around Hailee Steinfeld's character. The charm between her and Bumblebee, is what really allows this film to succeed as a sweet and simple blockbuster film.

The UHD looks really nice, too. The HDR on this is fantastic all around.

Really happy I picked this up. The Transformers redesigns look fantastic, too. Way more tonally similar to the G1 designs.

I bought this from Walmart, and the front of the box said that it comes with the a digital copy of the original 2007 Transformers movie and to "see receipt for details." Well, I used the self-checkout at Walmart to buy it, and I don't see anything on the receipt about a digital copy of the 2007 Transformers on it.

Does it have the comic book attached? Or is the extra supposed to be the Transformers code?

Just finished and WOW...best Transformers since the first by far. Absolutely loved this as it feels like the 80's cartoon and animated film come to life. Also, freakin' stellar 80's soundtrack. Might be the most nostalgic feeling experience I've had with a movie since Blade Runner 2049, brought me right back to being a kid and experiencing this world for the first time.

No, Vudu does not have all the extras. Maybe over half. And they only have part one of the 5 part featurette. iTunes has them all, though.

Thank you. It looked that way. Now I have to decide if 30 minutes of special features that I will watch once is worth paying full price for the disc.

I have to agree with the reviewer, the yellow doesn't overwhelm (as it never does on an all-yellow Lambo ;-) ) the artwork, quite the contrary. It looks really sleek, .. just succumbed to its charms (and not bad at all at 32.99) when looked it in person :-).

A few local stores had some stock after midnight, but they were all gone by mid morning Tuesday.

This movie made me feel stupid for thinking Transformers 1 was the only good Transformers or better yet actually good period. This one spin off/prequel managed to best every preceding Transformers film by a country mile. Forget Bay, bring on the Knight.

Nah, the first one is decent and has just enough good things about it to counter the bad things. It is at least watchable and somewhat enjoyable unlike every film that came after it which were some of the most awful things ever filmed.

I haven’t seen bumblebee yet but I’m sure it and th first one will form a nice one-two punch. Then, we’ll see where the follow up movies take us.

Naw... that dude is right.

Bumblebee is good enough to expose the first Transformers as the below average dreck that it is.

Travis Knight should be given the keys of at least overseeing the development of this franchise moving forward.

All the Transformers movies are enjoyable spectacles, I don't care for these hyperbolic comments that make out like they're the worst movies ever made, they're far from that.

Worth it for the action and fx. I come to a TF to see robots smashing the shit out of each other and every Bay movie delivers that in spades.
