I'd love blu-rays of the Woody Woodpecker/Chilly Willy/Andy Panda cartoons.

So we can surmise Kino has one Hammer and it is probably a thriller not horror. I'm going to guess it is Straight on Till Morning.

I wouldn't say that if you look at the Insider's response. It's possible they have one of Hammer's five conventional horrors - or indeed none at all - but they might well have one or indeed all of the remaining 3 titles - Demons of the Mind, Straight on Till Morning, and Fear in the Night.

Your right. My gut feeling is just questioning why Shout ended up with every horror but one. I'm thinking they have them all including Demons of the Mind, which I grant you can be seen as more psychological but I personally consider it mainstay Hammer horror. I'm just thinking because of Peter Cushing they grabbed Fear in the Night too, but this is all completely surmising.

Not sure if this was asked but is Haunted (1995) with Studio Canal in the US?

Great news about Lost Highway! I only recently saw it for the first time last year (via the old Focus DVD) and it's a fun Lynch film.

I'll go ahead and say that I'll buy anything from the Republic library. Even better if something could be worked out with Olive Films so you could release the complete Betty Boop cartoons instead of only the 49 previously released. Sets of the rest of the Max Fleischer cartoons would be equally great and I'd imagine way more appealing to animation collectors than the DFE/UA shorts. (And the George Pal Puppetoons would be amazing since they seem to be part of the same package as the Fleischer cartoons).

Universal would be neat, too, though they probably need a lot of work first.

I believe "The Elephant Man" is still a Paramount title in the US. Shout haven't had a deal with Paramount in a long time.

Ditto. I fully understand how the likes of the Tijuana Toads and Misterjaw would be tough sells, but Max Fleischer is more beloved than that.

Believe me when I say jump on this wagon ASAP and I'll will gladly buy ANY release of the Paramount cartoons (theirs and/or TerryToons) you put out!

And 2 things are the upmost importance; DO ask Universal because they have home video rights now to the post October 1950 Paramount/Famous library (via DreamWorks Animation/Classics) while Paramount owns the theatrical rights and negatives. The 3 of you coming together, we can FINALLY see collector's set of the ENTIRE non-Popeye (which is already being taken care of by Warner)/non-Superman Famous Studios library in all it's beautiful restored and remastered glory!

The second, get Jerry Beck, Greg Ford, Mark Arnold and any Paramount animation aficionado on board because if Paramount and you are serious, releasing all the Paramount cartoons is of the upmost importance!

Speaking of Universal, do look into the Walter Lantz and pre-74 Rankin/Bass libraries too (the latter Rick Goldschmidt would LOVE to be involved)!

Yeah, I just can't see Kino going for JUST Straight on Till Morning, one of Hammer's lesser titles.

But at least Kino is rewarded by your excellent involvement which no doubt results in more business for KL.
