So far I've had really good luck with vinyl on ebay. Most have actually arrived with original shrink on them when it wasn't mentioned in the listing. I just thought it odd that the only editions of say; Rush - Counterparts I have seen have been from Brazil. Aside from the high price, I was really worried that the sound quality would be sub par as well.

As for local places, there's a chain out here that deals in it but they jack up stuff like Pink Floyd to $30 even though the cover art is almost completely worn off. I've found some decent stuff in there but my Holy Grails I try to get elsewhere (The Wall, DSOTM, Court Of The Crimson King, 2112...).
