Hopefully the 2 discs on the spine is a typo, and it's 3 like the others.

Just got the first volume in the mail and I haven't yet tested any of the discs but I hope they continue to spread these films out across as many discs as possible.

Interesting that Crimson Kimono is included while Twilight Time’s edition is still in print. Guess that means I don’t have to worry about getting that now. Of course it won’t have the extras, but it doesn’t look like it had much for the price.

Wow! A good line-up with some more well-known titles than the previous sets. The Line-Up and Crimson Kimono, plus a couple Victor Mature noirs

If they're getting Sony noirs also licensed to Twilight Time, I'm surprised they didn't also go for The Big Heat. They could've also added The Lady From Shangai, which Mill Creek has already released in a standalone. Both films are also available in the UK from Powerhouse Indicator.

This one actually has Mill Creek labeling on it. The others don't, do they?

When I pick this set up, I'll have three copies of "The Crimson Kimono". The TT disc, the disc in the Indicator Fuller set, and then this set. Can't say I ever imagined owning three copies of that film, but, hey, shit happens. I do enjoy the film at least.

“House of Bamboo” would have been a nice inclusion on Vol 2 or 3 - guess I’ll have to bite the bullet and pick up the Twilight Time disc. Hopefully Indicator will consider licensing it in the future.

Will this be the last volume collection since it's 1957-1960? They are up to the 60's.

According to this review, MVD says it will be three volumes.

Out of curiosity, which Sony noirs would still be unavailable on Blu-ray after this set?

I believe that article only mentions that volumes 2 and 3 are "on the way"--not ruling out the possibility of future volumes.

They certainly can always release another volume and start from the 40s again. How about Night Editor from 1946 for example.

I'm in the same position. I'm sure this will be the most bare-bones release of the three but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Curtis Hanson interview make it's way to this set. Although I'm assuming that would have to be licensed from Columbia as they produced the original Sam Fuller DVD set.
