Glad I only paid $3 then.

I'll also avoid Alphas too because of the cliffhanger ending, which will be easy enough because it seems impossible to find a store with both seasons in stock. Not worth driving around to maybe find both.

I completely forgot about that show. I watched it as it aired. It's a frustrating waste of time when even the storylines from the season aren't concluded. I guess before buying a dvd box set cheap it's good to check imdb on the phone for unaired episodes.

I just started rewatching Deadwood for the first time in over 12 years. I only vaguely remember what storylines were left unfinished. I'm thinking this may be one instance where they tie up some of the loose ends after over a decade.

Alphas is definitely worth watching, despite the cliffhanger (which, when viewed as an series finale, is an absolutely crazy way to end a show). It's one of SyFy's best shows of the past several years.

I’m out of town again and happened to see a Big Lots in Florida. I found The Croods and Horton Hears a Who for $1.25 each on clearance. Both also came with the digital copies.

I stopped by a Big Lots for the first time in months. It was renovated since the last time I stopped by. Huge focus on the grocery department and patio. I did find a 2 sided display of movies and CDs and not the infamous 4 sided rack I've seen the past few years. Clearance movies additional 50% off. I did not see anything.
I did pick up for $3: Bad Words (bluray combo).

Wow, those are serious deals! I bought both of those years ago for about $15 each and thought I was getting a bargain.

Is the Planet of the Apes Legacy Collection the DVD or Blu-Ray?

Looks like the blu by comparing the height of both.

I paid $20 + tax each for those 2 back in the day. :-/

I paid like almost $80 for Alien Anthology on release day. Totally worth it but this is just off the charts value for anyone that doesn’t already have this set.

I was there earlier this week since i had $5 dollars with me thought to see if they added anything different but sadly it was mostly the same from the week before so i just ended up getting some of those Arizona Ice Tea drinks since there only 75 cents instead of 99 cents everywhere else.

I already own the POTA (the old big book set), and Alien collections, so I'm good.
Great deal for those who don't own them though!
Sadly, the darn Ebay scalpers will most likely scoop them up before the people who actually would like to own these at a killer price.

i am 100% completely shocked that after reading this morning about the sets that i went to my Big Lots, and boy did they have a huge new batch of blu's and low and behold they had both sets..I have the POTA one already..but A friend has been wanting to borrow it..so I bought it for him as a gift.it was the only copy they had.
What I grabbed for myself was:
Aliens Anthology (I have the lessor Quadrilogy which i will now unload and get back at least the 5.00 i spent on new set.)They had 3 copies of this set.
Jurassic Park 3D $5.00
I Robot $5.00
Adventurer The Curse Of The Midas Box $3.00
I'll probably find a couple of these one day at Dollar tree but oh well..
The other shock was i had a coupon that I actually used because of this batch.

I'm assuming Alien Anthology does not include a digital code for the 3 alien films?

I think this is the first batch of the anthology, that one doesn't have digital copies, but the newer batch (Bought it on BB when Covenant was released) does have digital copies for the 4 movies (yes, it also includes Alien: Resurrection)
