Some of those perfectly acceptable releases are out of print and with the re-release it gives the collectors an an opportunity to own without spending $50+ on it if they missed out , or if a collector sees the new release as upgrade to the current release and decides to purchase it. Since this movie already has an HD master, it's a no-brainer - and if this is an upgrade to the BU release Im sure a few including myself will get it. It's part of the business, you will see many new to the format and potential upgrades to the existing release. At least there are labels interested in releasing them

Seems like it will be a while before this gets a new release in the States. Will the UK release most likely be region free or region locked? For £14.99 it’s not a bad purchase to buy the UK disc first.

Two Evil Eyes is getting a Limited Edition 4k Remaster later this year. Blue Underground unofficially/officially confirmed it about an hour ago on facebook. They just wrapped up a new interview with Two Evil Eyes co-writer Franco Ferrini for it.

Limited edition... I hope it’s not a case of 10,000 copies or available only for a limited time release.

All of the recent 4k Remasters have been advertised as Limited Editions. I'm sure this one will follow that same pattern and be around for quite awhile afterwards as this isn't nearly as popular of a film as the other 3 announcements have been thus far.

It says "Uncensored camera negative"... was there cuts made to this that have not appeared on earlier Blu Rays (eg 88 Films)?

So I'm ashamed to admit I've never seen this, but I'm a fan of both directors. How does this film rank among other horror anthologies?

The Romero-directed hour is really great. I didn’t like Argento’s too much, but I usually don’t like his stuff.

You can watch this in gorgeous HD on Amazon Prime Video currently if you want to try before you buy, FYI.

That ‘lenticular’ cover art is good (is it the original cover art?), the ‘front’ cover... ugh.
