Nice Post JTK,HD-DUD is already dead and forever

What if Warner releases Batman Begins on BD,Warner release this Title very soon and you will gain more profit than HD-DVD.

Cool, I didn't think there was any doubt that the BD would outsell the HD DVD, even though the HD did relatively well also.

It's already getting swamped by the HD-DUD fanboys and their delusional rants.

I could pick apart each one of them for their disinformation, FUD, and pure hatred-of-Sony motivated lies, but I'm not going to waste my time.

I picture that crowd as having an average age of about 14 (or an emotional maturity level of that).

Sad. Now they are blaming the stores for not having enough copies so HD DVDs couldn't be purchased by those who wanted to purchase them. Of the places that I did see them sold out, they weren't sold out for more than a day or two. We shall see in the coming weeks too that Blu-ray will keep outselling the HD DVD version by a large margin. No one should be out of stock of these titles any longer. Amazon still has the Blu-ray listed in the top 10 titles. HD DVD is still behind.

What's that old song again by Dead or Alive? Oh yeah...."You spin me round" The HD-DUD fanboys are great at trying to spin things around.

What gets me is most of them agree that DVDs look great when up-sampled and even say they would rather get DVDs than Blu-ray cause they hate Sony. And yet... DVD is ALSO a Sony invention.
Go figure....

Yes, as you can see, and as I said from the get go, the sales ratio of this one are going to make headlines. HD DVD (you know, the ones with the dedicated player base that has SOOO much more propensity to buy movies) were really counting on sending a message about the format war with better sales of this title on thier format as opposed to Blu-ray, and as it turns out they're obviously getting served BIG TIME!

And the spin you ask? Well 300 was a title that had SOOO much more demographic appeal to PS3 owners (an argument, I've been making about Warner's catalogue for some time; their catalogue lends infinitely better to the PS3 base as far as sales potential than it does HD DVD, but I digress).

Hate to squash all the spin HD DVD, but why did the Departed also sell 2:1 in favor of Blu-ray?? What's the excuse for that one? Oscar picks do SOOO much better with PS3 owners too????????....
