Doubts About My Bd-p1400!!! - Blu-ray Forum

Yesterday I updated my bd player to the 2.0 version... but I can´t understand what advantages did this mean to my BD-P1400... Can someone help me with this?

I want to know if it did work... and what would happen if it actually did and I tried to upgrade it again?

Can someone please tell me?

The firmware update fixes a playability issue with some titles. You can only update to a specific firmware once, but if a newer version becomes, you can update to that version.

But what would happen if the 2.0 version upgrade worked and I tried to upgrade it to the same version, one more time?

The player will recognize that is already updated to that version, and it should not update itself again.
