Talking The Terminators-April 28th

This looks amazing...

thetermiantors.jpg

...ly bad.

Quote:
The Asylum, a direct-to-dvd production company responsible for producing cheap knock-offs of the latest big budget Hollywood movies (termed “Knockbusters) takes on Terminator Salvation with a movie titled The Terminators. The Asylum’s past titles include: Street Racer , Sunday School Musical , Transmorphers, Snakes on a Train, I Am Omega, Da Vinci Treasure, Temple of the Skulls, HG Wells’ War of the Worlds, AVH: Alien vs. Hunter, Monster (the Cloverfield rip) and Pirates of Treasure Island.
Notice that it is the same people who brought us Snakes On A Train(not plane). I can't wait.

This movies are usually great to watch at 2 am when you can't sleep. Just wait until sci-fi channel gets hold of it.

Transmorphers. Brilliant!

Speaking of the Sci-Fi Channel, they are playing AVH: Alien vs. Hunter tonight.

It amazes me that company hasn't been sued yet. Their entire catalogue is basically rip off movies like that.

Well, they made a movie called The Day The Earth Stopped(guess which movie that one's ripping off). Fox sent them a "cease and desist" letter, which they ignored. I don't know why no one's taken things further.

I doubt there's much of an 'eyeline' to walk through in this movie... it's likely all green screen. *LOL*

I read an article about these guys a little while ago that was actually pretty good. They seem like a new wave AIP (Roger Cormans' studio). I've never seen any of these movies nor will I ever, but I'm always entertained knowing crap like this exists so that confused grandparents are sure to dissapoint their grandchildren =].

My girlfriend and I were laughing at a redbox today when we saw "The Day the Earth Stopped". Keep it up guys.

I own this one on DVD, mainly because I'm a big Mark Decascos fan.

I got the official Thai R3 DVD of the film for $10 rather than spending $25 for the US R1 DVD. No way will I pay $25 for a rip off film. It's funny because Mark killed the same zombie like 20 times in the film. But, I like the whole "LAST MAN ON EARTH" theme.

I also own their version of War of the Worlds which I picked up for $7 back Christmas 2007. That was somewhat enjoyable.

I usually just wait to watch these type films on the Sci-Fi channel. But I wouldn't mind picking one of these up for a buck. Get some beer and a few friends and have an MST3K night. Those are always fun.
