I believe there's a region free German release that's under 10 euros.

Looks ugly as hell in your movie library.

Boggles the mind.
Custom artwork exists, and if artwork is what keeps you from buying a movie, I suggest you really didn't want it anyway and you're really after mini-posters. Which can had in reprints for cheap.

Perhaps i'm a wee bit exaggerating. I'm still buying (if less than other labels these days) titles from Kino. Can't wait for "The Silent Partner" to come out next month but yeah, shame they don't put better effort in their packaging.

And any more licensing deals? Besides Imperial, MGM and the Yari Group titles.

I do want more of the FilmRise titles that star the action icons; Van Damme, Lundgren, Sragal, Snipes and Lambert. I still feel that you would of treated the Mu Image/Millennium Films titles better than how Echo Bridge/SP is treating them.
Because I've been neglecting the "MVD Classics" line, I just did a deal for several titles to add to that collection including two never before released Jess Franco films.

Ulterior Motives & Sanc+uary were not in the Imperial library. Would like to get more Dacascos movies though. He's one of the nicest people on the planet.

Damn you with those beautiful slipcases and GREAT stickers, those are for me like drugs to some poor souls. I do hell hope that you could start producing REAL stickers for those slips as SOON as possible. Dare I hope... With SPLIT SECOND perhaps?
When you say "real stickers" do you mean put actual real individual stickers on the slipcover and then shrink it?

Sorry for the "limited" selection. I really need to get the MGM sales up if we want to do another deal with them. Really wanted to focus on those titles with some lower pricing.

First of all, I have nothing bad to say about Kino. I worked there for 4 years and love everone there. As far as the spines go, the OCD in me likes the consitiency (and I wouldn't want them to change at this point otherwise they won't match), but my personal preference is good oldfashioned title treatments on the spine.

But man, they got a great mix of titles! It's tough to keep up with them!

What I would give to see some great 80’s Sword and Sorcery make this line.
Just preordered My Samurai.

I inquired about one today. It's (can't name the film) apparently getting a new 2K HD transfer from the negative (so I'm told). I've inquired about it's availability. Stay tuned. I want more Van Damme and Dacascos.

Name a few "Sword and Sorcery" titles you like that are independently[ produced (meaning if it's a Warner or a Disney film, it ain't gonna happen). But if it was done outside the studio system, I'll certainly look into it. Post a few that you like. Thanks!

Ahh the old exaggeration ploy, well played.

I tend to use that ploy as well.

@MVD Rewind Guy... any chance you guys could release Douglas Hickox’s Blackout with Richard Widmark, Keith Carradine & Kathleen Quinlan? It’s such a good film and it’s kind of shocking it’s been neglected so long with such a well-known cast.

Looks like HBO owns that one. Would love to get it, but I have no connections to anyone at HBO unfortunately.

Should I be asking for those "Bikini Car Wash" movies for a double feature? Would you guys buy those? I'm not sure I would, that's why I'm asking.

HBO? Chances of it ever coming out aren’t looking good.

Thank you for the reply, MVD Rewind Guy. Love your guys’ work. Can’t wait to receive my order from the sale!

I actually did record those to VHS off of Cinemax when I was a teen as they made for adequate adolescent spank material. But I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t buy them, honestly.
