Hey man. I really think you'd like Fallout 3. It really gives you the freedom to roam around almost anywhere in a dystopic America. Has a good blend of genres including a level up rpg style. After playing the heck out of it I went out and bought Oblivion. I haven't opened it yet but just knowing it came from the same game makers it became an instant buy for me. So yeah... although it's not gonna give you that 100% parasite eve feel (or maybe at all) there is no way you can go wrong with fallout 3. Let us know your decision!

Is this title similar? After awhile do you just not notice the type of graphics used and you are able to just enjoy the game? Sorry I'm just not a fan of the 'style' of graphics used in the game.
The graphics are pretty good, but the game is really bad. I mean really bad, the story sucks, the battle system is pretty poor. The only reason the game gets any praise is because of the Chopin theme and awesome soundtrack.

You probably mean dystopian ? Anyways Fallout feels like a war game, somehow I just don't picture it as some kind of Oblivion. But I have not tried it so I don't know for sure. I'm looking forward to the new Elder scrolls 5 announced for 2010

I was referring to Valkerie Chronicles (sp). Will I be able to get past the 'style' of graphics?
