The live action was enjoyable, but garbage nonetheless. It was an enjoyable garbage.

Only time I ever saw this movie unaltered was the first time in the theater... as this is one of my top films of all time I’m happy to see it being released in 4K. Bummed it never got 3D a few years back.

Did you create it yourself? Because there's no page for the steelbook yet.

It’s good enough that Aladdin is getting the 4K treatment in September, but what about Beauty and the Beast? What’s stopping Disney from giving it the 4K treatment?

Don't worry Disney loves money; but they want to cash in on Aladdin first then they will milk Beauty and the Beast when the time is right.

it is legit trust me Viking61 is pretty spot on with these. Also pretty sure the mods at blu ray.com don't add a cover picture to the database unless its legit

I thought it was excellent, not garbage at all. I don't understand why you're even saying that. Will Smith was excellent as were the two leads. The song and dance sequences were all wonderful. I just wish they hadn't cut most of Billy Magnussen's scenes as he was quite funny. Hopefully we'll see them in the deleted scenes on the Blu-ray.

Yet here we are getting a live action Mulan with no signs of Pocahontas getting one.

Not surprising considering the PC age we live in now

It's ok, I vote for Pocahontas to be left alone, the original movie was good enough no need to crush every childhood memory created by Di$ney.

What do you mean, crush every childhood memory? The live-action Beauty and the Beast was good, as was The Jungle Book and Aladdin.

Nobody's childhood memories are crushed. The original movies will always exist.

Yes, the originals will always be here, but these remakes seem to perpetuate the idea that animation, specifically traditional animation, is an Inferior medium.

What worries people is that by existing at all, they think the remakes ruin the original movies' integrity.

Not necessarily. If they thought the traditionally animated ones were inferior, then why would they even re-release them as tie-ins to the remakes?
