Of the four theatrical Hellraiser films, only the first one is worthwhile. The second one has no logic at all (even horror films need some logic), the third one is like a bad Freddy Krueger flick (A Nightmare on Hell Street?), and the fourth one has Pinhead in space. And a "director" who doesn't exist.

And of course I saw all four of them in a theater...

Avengers Endgame was the undoing of a carefully crafted MCU timeline and completely ruined it with time travelling shenanigans and BS explanations to make themselves out to be smarter than other movies that used time travel and grandfather paradoxes. Creating plot holes in the process. It lacked the depth and precision of Infinity War which is a superior movie. Endgame also had shown little to no fallout from the cataclysmic and life changing effects in the MCU sequels like Spiderman Far From Home. Proving once again MCU cares little for actual stakes being represented in their movies.

Probably an overall unpopular movie opinion.

Endgame is the better movie, but he does make some valid points. As for the thread title, here are some more things that may end up winning this thread:

  • Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer are better films than any of the Marvel Studio movies
  • Hulk is a better movie than any of the Marvel Studio movies
  • The current Star Wars films are better than any of the Marvel Studio films

That's it. I think I'm done for awhile. I'm probably going to tap out. See my signature.

The first time I had seen Hellbound I was about 9 and it terrified me to the point that I was afraid I was going to go to hell when I die. It also gave me the fear that I could possibly go insane. That scene when the mental patient cutting the maggots off his arm really freaked me out. Even at 9 I had already seen quite a few horror films such as Phantasm, City of the Living Dead, Pet Sematary, etc., but none frightened like Hellbound.

Today I'm no longer afraid of going to hell (insane is another subject) and I enjoy the film very much. Actually, deep down I enjoyed it then too.

That's been a long established reality.

Ebert gave Fight Club, 2 out of 4. Kermode thinks that both Cimino and 'The Deer Hunter', are Garbage.

Fight Club kinda sucks though, it's an annoying movie full of calculated edginess and overall just feels tryhard. And as for Ebert, I never really got why he's considered the end-all of film critics.

The first time I watched The Fly (1986), I had a horrible stomach virus and could not even clear my throat without vomiting. If you've seen it, you know the film is quite repulsive. When I made it through the whole movie without puking, I knew I was better.

Hellraiser is pretty nasty, too. Congratulations on not actually barfing!

Spider-Man: Homecoming & Far From Home were not that good. I'll take the Amazing Spider-Man films back in heartbeat.

There's never been an MCU movie thats better than 7/10 and even at that rating theres only maybe 3 or 4. They're all pretty mediocre.

I don't think I've ever given any of them more than 1/5.

Hey, it's the thread about unpopular opinions, not the thread where lies should be spread.

I've even given more movies 2/5 than 1/5!
