7.1 HD sound movies - Blu-ray Forum

Is there a list of movies with 7.1 HD sound? I invested heavily (for my budget) in a HT sound system. I'd like to include some BDs in my library that take advantage of my 7.1 system.

Or...is there a resource that allows me to search for movies with 7.1 HD sound? Thanks in advance!

http://www.blu-raystats.com/Stats/Stats.php you can sort any way you like, specific codec, or just 7.1 in general there

There is a list where you can search by codec and speaker system, and someone will be along shortly to post the link.

Before they do: Shoot Em Up, Rambo, War, Hellboy II, Sleeping Beauty, Run Fatboy Run IIRC, Most of the Lionsgate Blus, etc.

eta: Looks like I'm running about two posts slow tonight.

You can search this site using the advanced search feature, and just put in 7.1. The list is pretty long but the shocking thing is very little action movies are done in 7.1.

the link ive posted above shows you the 7.1 audio formats. you can also modify it later on to the choice of your bidding.

That list is only US releases. I'm enjoying my Black Hawk Down DTS-MA 7.1.

Hell yeah... that Rambo ending is wicked!!!!! we always turn the sound way up on that film. The 7.1 rips you a good one lol.

Sorry, I don't know of any lists that compile non-US 7.1 tracks. I just know SF Films release of Black Hawk Down sports 7.1 (and AVC video!) and German Jumper also has 7.1, however Jumper seems to be DTS-HR not MA. I think the Nordic Sin City is also 7.1. Fearless from HK also has 7.1. I think the Japanese Saw Quadrilogy pack uses TrueHD 7.1 for all the movies.

I would love to see a list of non-US 7.1 movies also.

Maybe it was good. But it really isn't my cup of tea. And neither was Madonna at first so maybe I should rent it?

But I can think of 100 titles that don't have 7.1 dts HD MA and this one does?
