I'll echo a few comments and say that it was a pain to get the page to keep loading and refreshing so I could grab all the titles I wanted, but in the end I got 37 titles and am excited to dig into them. Great sale

I don't think it has a HD master as things stand, but I'd love to see Kino help rectify this and release the classic Sunday Too Far Away at some point. Still time to get an interview with the legend that is Jack Thompson. Last of the Knucklemen is another of my favourites from that era, along with Money Movers and Stir (I believe these are also part of the films available to be licenced, not certain though).

The Quest and The System were both from Screenbound.

They also have better transfers and more features and better packaging. Shout bothers to have slips or steelbooks and Criterion has digipaks or a nice clear case and both have better custom artwork.

I think you guys need to take this frustration into account based on what you’re selling but also acknowledge you’re not on the same level as the big 3.

People aren’t spoiled, they just can’t justify spending more than $10 for barebones lackluster releases.

It includes 4 interviews that each more than 10 minutes in length, deleted scenes, and a trailer. The transfer is miles better than Universal’s international disc.

If you're going to throw a tantrum about prices, at least do some research. Barton Fink has special features and a good transfer. Most boutique labels don't do digital codes. And Boy isn't a KLSC title as KL insider has already mentioned.

Bare bones? Most of our releases include extras and more than half of them are loaded. Hundreds of new transfers, thousands of newly produced extras.

I'm not sure why there's a back and forth here on pricing. I've ordered movies on these sales for years and in the past there were a lot more recent titles in the $8.99 to $10.99 range. Now I'm seeing a lot more $12.49 to $13.49 pricing. This is simply a fact, not a major criticism or comments to pick a fight with the easily annoyed KL Insider ()

With this in mind, I still placed an order, just not as big as I was expecting to--

Interviews are nice but deleted scenes and a trailer in sd from the dvd. Like a trailer is exciting feature.

I asked when boy would go on sale as its a kino title.

And those special features are nothing compared to what other boutique retailers offer, plus a lot of people complained and did not like the transfer. Not to mention the 2.0 audio, even the reviewers here who are easily amused by any transfer said it was disappointing.

I am saying people here have a reason to be frustrated and if Kino is going to be rude towards consumers and tout themselves on Criterion/Shout level, put in the same effort they do.
