An American Werewolf in London is definitely in my top ten. Unfortunately, the deleted footage seems to M.I.A. Would love to see an extended cut of the film.

It seems we'll never see the death of the homeless guys that freaked out the test audience so much that Landis removed it...maybe there will be some stills or something on this new disk.

It won't go that low. Not for a collectors set. Maybe $30 tops.

I dunno. If a 4K disc was included, this would be the most "definitive" we could get and I'd be glad to buy. I guess the only positive here is the bonus materials, which usually end up on the Blu-ray disc anyway. Since a 4K scan has been done, all we can do is prepare our wallets or refuse to get this and run the risk of not getting as many extras. **Sigh** Capitalism....

As comprehensive as this edition appears to be I'm withholding preordering until we learn more about the transfer. Arrow was vague about this part on announcement day and there was no mention of the label doing any work on it. If it doesn't have the Arrow "stamp of approval" I'll probably pass.

Just preordered this. The price hurts (especially for a title I've already bought repeatedly), but I trust that I'll get my money's worth with Arrow every time. Right now, my go-to version of the film is the 2016 Blu-ray (warts and all) synced to the 5.1 mix from the DVD that was more faithful to the original mono, so this will be a most welcome upgrade. Looks like a really fantastic package all around.
