Default Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior)

Road Warrior is one of my all time favorite films. I was wondering how the Blu-ray release is of this? Any help would be much appreciated as I am considering picking this up in a few hours.

I tried the search function and couldnt find a quick answer so sorry, I am lazy.

Picked this up myself as the Region 2 dvd is very shoddy with daytime & night scenes crawling with grain. The BD is a big improvement & its only £12.

Looks more vibrant that the film did on theaters 25+ years ago and overall cleaner too. Apart from that, there's a çouple scenes shot at night that suffer because of it, but at least you can see what's happening on them!

The PQ on the Blu-ray version of this is amazing. Considering the age of this film, they did a great job with this. It's a must-have for fans of the film.

I thought that The Road Warrior was the first film and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was the sequal.

You haven't seen Mad Max? When it comes in HD you're in for another treat (Australian soundtrack of course)

Nope. There are 3. The 1st one wasn't very known in North America though but was a big hit in Australia.

I've seen the two films before. I'll need to go by my local BB and rent RW and see it again.

Totally agree, esp. with the Australian soundtrack, though I hope you can choose between the english and australian dub. The english is pretty funny in parts.

The trilogy is as follows:

Mad Max

Mad Max 2:The Road Warrior

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

I just bought it. It was really weird watching this movie in such high detail! I hope more older movies like this get released.. movies you have watched since you were a kid and now all the sudden the PQ is insane. Again was trippy
