That's rich coming from a Fox fanboy.

I'm looking forward to another Spider-Man movie and I don't care who makes it or if it's connected to the MCU.

And thus the reason that we haven't had another Incredible Hulk film since 2008, because the profits from the film were split with Universal Studios.

As for Tom Rothman? That guy is a class A nobtwirl with even James Cameron taking the piss out of him during post production on Avatar. Ridley Scott has winced when Rothman's name has come up in interviews because he knows how embarrassing the guy is. I wouldn't have Rothman run a fruitstand, let alone a major studio!

Tom Holland is the best incarnation of Spider-Man we’ve had and I have no interest in seeing anybody else playing him any time soon. We’ve had four different cinematic takes on Spider-Man in a relatively short amount of time, enough is enough. I hope they can work something out, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is by far my favorite character in the current line up of the MCU.

I don't like Tom Rothman either. Especially during Fox's X-Men era. The guy is responsible for X3 sucking, being against Sentinels appearing, not greenliting Deadpool, and a bunch of other stuff that I'm not going to list right now.

Having said all that, I have to be completely fair, I totally don't blame Sony at all. Why do they have to split the profits? They don't have to. It's not Disney's fault either. This is just one of those cases where you can see why two major studios working together rarely happens.

Sony are legendary for rampant overspend on the Spiderman films, they just can't get behind the idea that less can mean more. For what we get on screen, Kevin Feige keeps a tight hold of the purse strings...

I'm at a point where I feel like selling my Spider-Man movie collection. My God, the franchise is so inconsistent. Even more so than the X-Men films. It's just reboot after reboot with Spider-Man. Spider-Man needs to be like a episodic franchise, similar to Harry Potter. We need to grow with the character, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Sigh. I think I'll just stick with The Spectacular Spider-Man. Now THAT'S the definitive Spider-Man.

Which would have happened under the MCU.

Of course. Don't get me wrong, I want Spider-Man to stay in the MCU, despite Marvel Studios treating Spider-Man like Iron man Jr, but whatever. All I'm saying is, I don't blame Sony is all. Plus, Disney is equally to blame as well.

And if I’m being honest the Raimi Spider-Man films under Sony are better then anything featuring the character in the MCU. The 2 ASM also weren’t as bad as some would lead you to believe, they just weren’t as good as the Raimi trilogy.
Maybe you should get your head out of Sony's ass. It's amazing the lengths you Disney/MCU haters will go to to justify your pathetic hatred of Disney.

Also, the ASM movies aren't as good as you think they are.

Oh, yeah, because that is 100% the truth and Sony isn't just trying to save face.

Don't be so naïve.

Sorry, all I see is it's perfectly okay to bash Sony, but how dare you bash Disney blah blah blah nonsense.

Dude, at the end of the day, none of these companies give a shit about you. Stop having a hissy fit because there are some people bashing Disney just as much as people are bashing Sony.

That's a load of crap, and you know it. These boards are full of people who bash Disney and Marvel, and some are even in this thread. But no, only people are bashing your precious Sony. Let's just blatantly ignore everyone hating on Disney.

All you do is talk crap. When you get called out on it, you cower and say dumb things like "don't throw a hissy fit," which I actually wasn't doing. Don't get all upset because people don't want to buy into your bullshit.

And the MCU Spider-man movies aren't that much more profitable than the ASM movies either. For what Disney was asking of the box office you'd think Far From Home made Endgame money. ASM 2 was considered a disappointment at 709 million, Homecoming only made $180 million more and that was with Iron Man's help, Venom made almost that much disconnected from the MCU, Sony would be making less money here than they did on the ASM movies so what would they have to gain? Do you expect them to make $2 billion on the sequel to Far From Home?

This wasn't Marvel making this call or Feige, this was Disney being greedy. They should've started with 30% maybe 40% of the gross, not half.

What are you talking about? Sony gets a lot of hate in these forums as well. I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy. I don't give a shit if you bash Sony. You think it's perfectly okay to bash a studio, yet cry when somebody bashes Disney. You and Star Lord are guilty of this.

The hypocrite is you. The only posts I made here were calling out that bullshit hypocrisy of yours and other Disney haters. If you're going to call me out, at least use facts instead of pathetic lies you made up because you can't handle being called out.
