Anyone happen to get DARK CITY early?

Any thoughts? Id assume the encode is better than the US edition. Need this one for the bonus features for sure.

Where can I pre-order the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas set? I have the US Blu-Ray from Criterion, but I want to own it as a collector's item.

Yeah that's what I'm waiting for too. I think they usually put up the preorders of UK releases a few days later than the US releases.

Not to go off topic, but the Arrow release of Nightbreed will bring me right back to 1990 aged 14 and getting the Commodore Amiga Screen Gems pack for Christmas, Nightbreed was one of the games, terrible gameplay and difficult but still fun, the Amiga was the greatest computer ever and I don't think I've ever had a Christmas like it since, anyone remember this?

I had the Batman pack the previous year, with a 10 game collection as an added bonus (Buggy Boy etc).

Not sure I ever played Nightbreed, but I remember the ads in Amiga Format

The Batman and T2 packs I know, not seen that but it wins for Days Of Thunder.

Assume he meant the Charlton Heston movie.

Though the 90s movie could do with a major upgrade

I didn't think the TV cut was even released on DVD?

I was thinking with Paramount apparently becoming more open to licensing their back catalogue out. Be good if Arrow picked up Virtuosity.

Why no early bid price for Robocop or Fear and Loathing?

Probably because they're big titles that'll sell well regardless.

I think the UK rights-holder for both Dune and Blue Velvet is De Laurentis. These titles are presently being distributed by High Fliers. Universal had previously picked up the rights to both films for the box set in 2012 but I believe all the Universal releases are now OOP.

When you pre-order on DiabolikDVD, do they charge you when the item is being shipped out?

My Zavvi BOGOF items arrived just this morning - TO LIVE AND DIE IN L.A. and BRANDED TO KILL. Booklet in the latter but none in the former, you win some ya lose some! Can't wait to watch both.

I bought the former over a year ago and it didn't come with a booklet then.

re: Potential Universal titles

I'm sure Arrow would love to release the camp classics Xanadu and Cry-Baby!

I could also see them releasing something like Orgasmo just to have an excuse to meet/hang out with the South Park guys.

Anyone else think Arrow might be the last and only chance for a decent Blu of Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery?

I think I mentioned this a few years back, but perhaps my dream Universal title (providing it's still with them) would be Derek and Clive Get the Horn, certainly a cult favourite to say the least. So long as no one junked it, there must be a ton of outtakes and deleted material for this - apparently Virgin have some 20 hours of audio recordings from the whole session in their archives, a fraction of which has appeared on the Ad Nauseam and Come Again releases. Maybe including such audio might not be within Arrow's remit (given that it's the property of Virgin seemingly), but if deleted footage and outtakes exist, well, I'd be in heaven (I believe a brief outtake was shown on a BBC4 documentary a few years back, so there must be something). I imagine there are some great BTS stories also given all the reports about Pete and Dud's relationship at this point. Maybe they could get an interview with Russell Mulcahy also? I'm getting ahead of myself here, but it certainly has the potential to be a great package (failing that, maybe Indicator might be interested?)
