I'm biased but that's an absloute steal if you are unsure about it. Season 1 is wonderful.

Absolutely the first season of Game of Thrones for 12 bucks is an amazing price, for an amazing TV show.

Between now and never. Really depends on if they have been working on the previous seasons to get them out. Personally I’m looking forward to this season UHDBR.

I reckon they'll be giving the whole show an upgrade just for the launch of HBO Go going 4K, which will no doubt happen in the next couple of years. I'm pretty damn certain that they'll do a UHD release of the whole show but absolutely certain that they will at least go 4K just so they can offer it on HBO Go at some point down the line.

Same here...never watched the series.

I just got season one on 4K disc, and will be popping it in tonight.

Looking forward to the rest of the series on 4K disc.

Not really. Most people hated the way it ended. So the chances of any additional seasons selling very well is, IMO, pretty slim.

I don't know if WB will chance 4k disc releases for GOT anymore. As was mentioned, the wind got let out of the sail in Season 8 (some say Season 7 is where things started actually getting bad) and there is a tremendous fan backlash.

So many hardcore fans just completely lost interest in ever watching the show again, so yeah.

They might save it for streaming as I’m sure they’ve been working HDR passes regardless.

It's crazy. I have no desire to revisit this show after the final season. I never thought i would feel that way. GOT and Dexter are two of my favorite shows that ended soo poorly that I don't think i will revisit them again.

I agree with that one. Wasn't a huge fan of the final season of The Sopranos either. My issue wasn't so much the final scene, but more along the lines of the boring trip Tony took to Vegas after

Breaking Bad and Six Feet Under, now THAT'S how you end shows.

I remember the Breaking Bad and Dexter finales were on the same night. I watched them back to back. It made Dexter's even worse watching it right after Breaking Bad.

I'm sure one day I will revisit GOT after the bitter taste has left my mouth. I would for sure buy a complete box set if they released it on 4k because I would love to see the first 6 seasons again in a format better than the streams i watched.
