lemonski Blu-ray Samurai Top contributor Member since:Sep 2007 4K collection:220 Blu-ray collection:2305 Trading Score:5	It was a dumb idea in the first place, IIRC BD added it to the spec in response to HD-DVD touting it as the next greatest thing since sliced bread. No-one came up with any compelling uses for it, and it was easy to predict it would be abandoned. Once you’ve bought the disc and studios have your money, providing server farms and content for no additional income is just an ongoing cost centre.
