Gosh, hard to narrow it down from the 216 releases I have from Scream/Shout but I guess it would come down to these.

1) Halloween: The Complete Collection (15 disc boxset)
2) Army of Darkness
3) Vincent Price Collection 1
4) Nightbreed (Limited Edition)
5) Paul Naschy Collection 1

Wow...how did I forget the Halloween collection?! Yes. This should be on my top 5 list.

Nightbreed LE was a tough call to leave off the top 5, but it's definitely in my top 10!

Great to see another fan of this film. I blind bought the U.K. dvd because I love Tony Curtis so much and had no idea I was about to purchase one of my favorite movies....EVER!

I picked up The Manitou as a blind buy. By the time it was over I felt almost ashamed that I had never seen it before. Movies like this were made for me.

The Manitou is one of the most utterly bonkers horror films of the seventies. It's definitely among my favorites of the decade. I'm a little surprised it isn't more popular or discussed much by horror fans. Plus your man Tony Curtis is awesome in it. Hard to believe this was coming out the same year his daughter was in Halloween.

There are many other releases by Scream/Shout that I appreciate, I just wanted to single out this odd gem. Now I really wish we could get a proper edition of William Girdler's other possession themed film, Abby.

[Show spoiler]"Their guns have Manitous!" lol

2. The Vincent Price Collection I
3. Assault on Precinct 13
4. Rock ‘n’ Roll High School
5. Lifeforce

These are just off the top of my head. I own almost all of the SF titles, so it’s tough to choose.

Lotsa great Top 5 lists here that include many titles I myself would've gone with, but as I've yet to see any of the following I'll give 'em proper notice:

Brian De Palma's delirious hybrid of horror and rock THE PHANTOM OF THE PARADISE.

John Carpenter's wonderfully atmospheric THE FOG (MasiveMovieBuff, I just looked back and you did get here first...and given your avatar I should've figured you would ).

Tobe Hooper's beautifully bizarre and insane (in the absolute best way imaginable) LIFEFORCE (oops, Great Owl beat me to this one ).

William Friedkin's terrific TO LIVE AND DIE IN L.A., the best 80s cop movie that feels like it could've been made in the glorious 70s.

Joe Dante's werewolf classic THE HOWLING which, despite its delightful tongue-in-cheek approach, still delivers in its more horrific sequences (and Rob Bottin's excellent effects work still impresses).

What a crazy difficult task. There are more than 30 shout releases that are absolutely essential. The Thing and Return of the Living Dead are in my top 10 favorite films of alltime yet I'm not listing them because I already owned blu-rays from other companies that were at least serviceable. Then there are the Paul Naschy and Sonny Chiba Sets that I adore. There are even some DVD sets I wouldn't want to part with like the Lethal Ladies sets.

Lifeforce

A Boy and His Dog

Humanoids from the Deep

The Slumber Party Massacre

Silent Night, Deadly Night

**Nightbreed blows. I'd set it on fire if I hadn't paid nearly $100 for that turd**
