Kind of a bummer that of all 3 releases Synapse has done for this movie, the best cover art (or at least my favorite) is the standard blu-ray.

Ordering this one this weekend, and holding onto my 3 Disc Limited Blu-Ray set.

Synapse did the best transfer for this film it has ever seen on disc.

It killed all other editions.

It is worthy of a purchase of their 4K UHD disc edition because of the time and cost that went into the restoration.

Their work on 4.0 audio track alone is insane!

Not too many studios would have ever went through that amount of trouble.

I said even back when we were waiting all that time for the 3 Disc set that if a 4K came out I would gladly buy it to support the work they did.

I apologize if I came across as rude or condescending. Any disdain I may have shown was directed to the situation as a whole, and not you in particular.

I understand why Synapse may not want to include a standard BD (Discotek is considering the same for Space Adventure Cobra), but I still wish they had a slightly pricier option with both discs.

The demand for the last set probably gave them the drive/funding to put together a UHD disc. Yet people who got that set complain. Ironic.

Synapse took a lot of stick with delays for the BD
so I'm bit surprised this has November release date

if R.Harris has already seen it though, then it's seems more or less ready then
so might be on time

HOLY MOTHER OF SIGHS!!

This is potentially the greatest UHD news in months.

The current Synapse blu is my go-to demo disc for stunning video and insane sound design.
It’s also probably my all around favorite blu release in general.

My god though, Suspiria is already such a sensory overload experience and I can only imagine what an eye-ball melting, visual feast it will be in vivid HDR.

Just made the mistake of venturing into the Synapse thread in the regular BD forum.

Excellent news. I own the Synapse steelbook, and I’m very happy with it. I can’t wait to see the - even more impressive - 4K BD.

I did get that vibe, that it's nowt personal, but I thought I'd bust your balls all the same.

Hmmm. I got the UK Cultfilms UHD and the recent German megaset with the sequel. But I think I'll pick this one up too since the Synapse BD had nicer colors and better sound (IIRC).

Pre-ordered this so fast. The first of UHD release from one of the main boutique labels so this is really exciting.

All of this makes me wish someone would redo INFERNO. Now, redo INFERNO in UHD. The old BDs of INFERNO were made from a good master back then but newer masters are so much better a decade later.
