Om the Netherlands version, just a few classic Mickey shorts that I could see in a "Mickey Through the Years" section...saw "Lonesome Ghosts" listed, really only like three Mickey shorts or something like that (that I saw on the YouTube vids on launch day). No Disneyland/Walt Disney Presents/World of Color/Wonderful World of Disney episodes, unless you count the feature versions of Prince and the Pauper, Davy Crockett, Davy Crockett and the River Pirates, etc.

From what I read elsewhere HDR / DV depends on the device you use. Apple TV is said to have more titles containing DV. LG seems to have some problems with HDR / DV thus far.

So no one can do this small check to see if there is a new master?

Apparently it's still the Diamond/Signature release because someone, I don't know whether it was here or the Disney Plus forum on reddit said it still had the mistake.

It'd be nice if Disney+'s listing of Disney Channel movies in the MOVIES section would be duplicated on certain digital storefronts, as well as giving them Movies Anywhere support.

I'm glad to see the inclusion of late 90s/early 2000s Disney Channel movies/shows. Programming that's not on disc or streaming anywhere. Would be fun to rewatch some for nostalgia.

I'm wondering if they'll be in standard definition or if any will be updated to HD. Some of those movies and shows only had VHS releases or nothing at all and were solely aired in SD.

The ones available to buy digitally from Amazon are in SD, so they may be locked at that resolution.

That's the Netherlands list, we'll see what the U.S. content will contain. It *will* be different because of existing licensing agreements.

Disney+ will start to get interesting for me when the original content starts to come onto the service, and when they beef up the service with more classic Walt films, shorts, and TV shows. Won't be touching the Disney Channel stuff at all. My problem is that I already have most of the stuff I want on physical media. The lure for me was to be able to see classic Walt films I haven't been able to own.

The thing about this is that, while that's a great lineup, I own the movies I care to rewatch and don't care about most of the series. Though there are some old DCOMS I'd love to rewatch. I brought up the international Stitch shows that never aired in the US completely in any way, this would have been a perfect way to finally do that. Most people probably don't even know those exist.

Also still disappointed Dave the Barbarian isn't there still. I also remember a show called Lloyd in Space that isn't on that list. And 500 Days of Summer seems weird to be on there, there was a scene where they had so much sex in the shower that they broke the shower curtain rail thing... you'd think Disney wouldn't want that on their "family friendly" service.

Looks like DMC are getting a 3 year offer and a 2 year offer for Disney +.

3 years for $169.99

2 years for $119.99

Not sure if this was mentioned here or not.

Offer ends Oct 07, 2019.

Seems like you found a reason not to subscribe. The international Stitch TV shows more than likely belong to the international arms of Disney or a local production company so Disney US just does not have the rights. And this is not exactly a “family friendly” service, its a competitor to Netflix.

Sure R rated films and TV-MA shows won’t be on there but PG-13/TV-14 & under
rated content will be. Marvel is there with its language and violence. National Geographic with its real animal violence. And even Disney’s Pirates franchise.

Same boat. I have just about everything I want and I only care about the MCU shows but, hopefully a friend or relative will get the service and let me watch those shows as they come out. ...or, not holding my breath, those new MCU shows get a physical release somewhere (US or UK). It is just not worth the money for what's available to watch that I don't already have.

Are any of those Classic Disney films that got sequels worth watching? Little Mermaid 2, dalmatians 2? etc. etc.
