The easy solution is to go to the top of the home screen, click on 4K Movies, then click on Search movie. Specify the aspect ratio you want, and you have an instant up to date list.
Unfortunately, this site does not allow you to select a range of aspect rations, which would be helpful. Personally I only care about content not aspect ratios, so I don't really use the search feature. Last edited by wallendo; 09-17-2019 at 01:38 PM. |

lol @ this thread.
Virtually all of the best looking discs on the format have black bars and aren't "full frame." |

I had a Pioneer LD player made for the industrial/academic market, with a broken hinge on the disc tray, and I ran it through an RCA-to-coaxial converter to plug (via lobster clips) into that little black and white TV. And I could barely tell what was going on when I watched 'Scope movies, but it was the best I could do. ![]() |

On the other hand, to be devil’s advocate, I also “scoff” at people who adjusts their TV by eye (and call it calibration) or copying Rtings settings. I scoff not because I’m a calibrator. I became a calibrator because I’m that I want my images to be as close to studios’ intents as possible (and sound too). Whether I like it or not, it doesn’t matter, it matters whether it’s right or wrong.

I watch my movies "as they come". I'm happy with any aspect ratio.
Here are a few 1.78:1 or 1.85:1 UHD titles that are in my list: Bumblebee Ghost in the Shell Men In Black 3 Pacific Rim Predator (1987) Saving Private Ryan Only six titles from the 80 that I own. |
