movie NEVER Played theatrically, so 35mm loose out there is slim. Direct to vhs at a time is poison when movie can get booking back in 1984. Exhumed and AGFA has dvd/blu company so it'll tough to borrow anything from them.

I'll find it one day and it''ll forever to sell 1,000 BLU.

Ordered DRIVE-IN #7.
Nice that there were no games to place the order.

Ordered the new drive-in release, primarily for the kung fu flick. Shipping to UK cost is a stinger but i understand international postage costs are high thse days. looking forward to it.

Highlight of The Loners for me is Gloria Grahame's short cameo. Long removed from her It's a Wonderful Life and noir days, she regardless always piques my interest.

I ordered The Loners/Dragon vs Needles of Death just now, mainly because of Gloria Grahame in the first feature.

Exhumed and AGFA both have no problem letting other labels access their elements for releases. The fact that they have their own blu-ray labels would be moot in this situation since you already have licensed the title.

Even for non-theatrically released titles, you'd be surprised at what Exhumed and AGFA have elements for...you should at least check with them. There's no reason to not at least make an attempt.

That's right. The AGFA just have the prints. If you want the rights that's a different story. Pretty sure I saw some Code Red releases among their library

I would like to get this but I am a bit cash-strapped at the moment. Plus with the shipping charge deals like this are best for people ordering multiple things at a time as most of the discount is wiped out by the shipping fee when ordering only one item.

Perhaps it's time to flip your super-rare edition of The Carrier.

I'd be more inclined to sell all my Arrow booklets since apparently people collect those. Maybe dump some of the LEs and get the standard versions too.

The Carrier being the rare collectable that it is just has too much potential upside to sell now.

It's a collectable all right. It's collecting dust on my shelf. When I run out of room on my shelves, it's going to collect cobwebs in the closet.

In reality I wouldn't sell the carrier because I genuinely love the movie (especially the directors cut which ends spectacularly, the TC ends more like a TV miniseries would).... Which theoretically should be the primary reason people buy a movie in the first place!

I wouldn't know. My Code Red blu-ray copy is unwatchable, so I've never had the pleasure of seeing the Theatrical Cut. It would be great to see both, and form my own opinion about which I preferred. Maybe some day a reputable company will release it.

I had the TC on Code Red's DVD previously, though I sold it after watching the DC on the blu. DC is hands down better, I think most would come to this conclusion with the weird lifetime-movie style ending of the TC and inferior pacing. Code Red owns this movie worldwide I think so chances of another release from company other than Code Red is low.

This is where Bill repeats the whole only the Director's cut would be on a re-release. That however doesn't justify still charging $25+ for it.
