I had an idea. Could we maybe start compiling a list of titles with digital copies from each wave? Because sometimes I might not know a movie but it's worth buying for $1 if it has a digital copy (that works at least) because then I can watch it whenever on one of my streaming services like Vudu or iTunes.

I'll gladly contribute, but half of the time I don't even open the DVDs I buy from Dollar Tree unless a digital copy is explicitly advertised or it's a Disney title with DMR points. Or by chance, like Lost River I had no idea but I bought a copy with cellophane partially ripped so I opened to check that the DVD wasn't stolen and found the surprise digital copy. Sometimes I see you guys post about a DVD that had a digital copy and go "oh! I had no clue!" I've also noticed some blu-rays don't advertise a digital copy either but will have one and it'd be really helpful to know. Whether it's so I know to buy it (i.e. the animated titles -- I never know which ones have it unless there's a UV sticker on it for Tom and Jerry and Scooby Doo), or I have it and didn't know/open it so now I make sure to open it.

I'm not sure how it'd work, but I thought it'd be super helpful.

I went by two stores that finally put their stock out. I was definitely the first person to go through the bin at the first store -- I know that because they had the movies in the bin and then they had fake flowers piled on top of it (because they were moving them from one unit to another). I had to move them all myself in order to get to the movies. There was nothing really new, although they did have a copy of the Scarlett miniseries which is only the second I'd seen in this area. I didn't grab anything at all.

The second store had 13 total boxes, 2 were all bluray and the rest were mostly DVDs (with a couple of random bluray copies of Red vs. Blue: Season 10; Yoga Hosers; and Upstream Color mixed in). All of the boxes were completely full, so no one had bothered to look through them at all. They did have single blurays of Drumline and Death Wish (only the second copies of both movies that I've seen in this area).

I only picked up two DVDs though. Specifically, I grabbed Rendezvous (mostly because it had a slipcover). It stars Stana Katic from the TV series Castle.

I also grabbed Titanic: The Epic Miniseries Event. This differs from the BBC Titanic series that was floating around the last sale

Still waiting on 1 (possibly 2) stores to get their stock put out.

One issue with this, not all physical copies of the same title in the same release (upc) will include a digital copy. Digital copies were always very much a "your mileage may vary." Even if you find a physical disc package stamped with "digital copy" on it at DT, there is still a chance the digital copy included will not work.

I’m gonna try that. Mine was SD to my too.

My local store has still not put them out, I did ask again today and they told me they aren't the item of the week right now, they said they thought it was next week. I told them all the other stores around had them out but they said they weren't allowed to sell them yet. I'd say someone just doesn't want to put them out, I'll keep checking them every couple days though. Sounds like they've got some but who knows when they will put them out.

I definitely missed out on a couple stores that I think put them out early. One of them moved onto doing tissues I think they are. Another store put like a small stack in electronics but thats it. I'm hoping they still have a bunch they're getting ready to put out this Friday and just didn't want to make a mess in the electronics section. Also a 3rd store hasn't put anything out, electronics completely empty. Still solar lights, hoping they put out the DVD's in the next few days.

Would like to find Lost River and Aliens Ate My Homework for the digitals.

I tried watching Garlic and Gunpowder. Holy shit, what an abysmal load of crap. I had to turn it off after 45 minutes. God, I wish I could get those 45 minutes back. The cover art is better than what I saw.

Yeah, dude, a whole lot of nothing happens up until where I stopped. The plot of the story comes up around the 40 minute mark. The humor is non-existent. The characters are lame and uninteresting.

Anyways, here's some movies I've seen that I didn't mention:

13/13/13: For a C level movie (Asylum pictures, how are they still getting financed?), this was actually not too bad. If you can get pass the bad acting it's an okay horror flick. The artwork is very misleading, as is some pictures on the back cover. If you've seen The Signal (which was a DT release 1 or 2 batches ago), it's just like that, but honestly, I thought this was better.

The Bounty Hunter: A romcom that was more rom than com. I don't think I laughed once. It's not a bad flick, but I wouldn't advise you to go out of your way to watch it, unless you're a fan of Aniston. I thought Management was the better Aniston romcom.

Break Point (DVD): This is a light, crude humor movie. There's a bit of heart in it. It's decent overall. Worth a watch if there's nothing else to view.

Vinyan (DVD): This movie had misleading advertising. On the synopsis it says it's a "horror thriller," but there isn't any horror and the thriller finally enters well into the third act. There was potential, but the movie falls short. Overall, it's okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again. The final scene was funny and a little disturbing.

If you're curious to know, without giving detail on what led to it:

[Show spoiler]A group of boys rub and fondle a naked woman with mud. You can even some kids with big smiles on their faces.

I stuck with it through to the very end, and it didn't get any better.

I don't quite understand the title -- it sounds interesting, but doesn't really match the movie.

The cover art to the DVD is easily the best part of the entire thing.

The description of the movie sounds like an interesting B/C level movie... but there's very little of that in the actual film. It mostly focuses on two low level thugs who work for a mafia boss and are beginning to re-think their life choices. Then there's some ridiculous action at the end that's not terribly good.

Vivica A. Fox and Michael Madsen are the only known actors and they both have bit roles of just a few minutes.

I stopped by a store last night and picked up the following titles that I didn't see over the weekend at other stores:
  • Howl
  • Black Nativity (Extended Musical Edition)
  • Air Show Extreme: The Sky's the Limit
  • Mistress America

I notice a lot of people giving away codes for Yoga Hosers and curious if its because they don't want to sign up to that site or if they didn't like the movie.

I remember trying to watch it last year and couldn't even though I was once a big Kevin Smith fan, so I never cared if I found it at my local store (which I did on DVD). I just thought it was funny so many were happy to find it and were snapping up all the blu rays of it, then a few days later seeing the codes pop up on here for free.

I would guess it's because the code doesn't work in Vudu or MA as you mention. I'm curious as to how many of the codes have been redeemed at this point.
