No, but I'd buy it for the artwork alone.

Rented Far From Home via iTunes (4K) today, first time seeing the film.

Meh.

There's just something unbecoming about a superhero that spends 9/10ths of the movie whining.

Was Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man ever not sniffling and on the verge of tears?

Just saw it today. Cool fight scenes and the illusion scene was great. Everything else though was boring and some of the worst shit I've ever seen in a superhero film. Seeing J.K. Simmons as J.J.J. was great though.

2/10

Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna go and get ready for people to call me "dUmB StUPid RaImI Shil1 11!!1"

I watched it not too long ago, and of course, like its other respective films, I thought it a fun and entertaining movie. I geeked out when Beck mentioned Earth-616 and Earth-283 and for a second I thought, "Woah is that Mysterio from that reality?". I nearly lost it when JJJ showed up on the Daily Bugle. One thing I wished to see was Parker having his super suit underneath his casual clothing to do a cool quick change scene, but alas.

Can you explain what was the worst? I sincerely doubt they stack up to the drudgery of the DCU and 90s superhero movies.

Actually, it does. They turned Peter into a selfish dude who cares more about getting the attention of a random girl that he has a crush on then saving the world.
And before you say that I'm just blindly hating on the MCU Spidey, I actually liked Homecoming, despite its numerous flaws dragging it down a couple of notches.

I disliked most of Homecoming and thought this was much better.

Explain to me where Tobey's Peter Parker was whining in Spider-Man 1 or 3? Spider-Man 2 was them doing the whole "Spider-Man No More" story and even then and compared to Holland in Far From Home, I wouldn't call that whining either.

They made Peter Parker a realistic teenage boy. It isn't selfish or unexpected for a 16 year old to want to have a normal summer with the girl he likes, especially after everything that happened during Infinity War and Endgame. This is a 16 year old kid we're talking about, not a 30 year old man running away from responsibility to chase a girl.

Trying to ghost Nick Fury until after his vacation, attempting to leave his suit at home (and failing because of Aunt May), handing over Edith to Quentin Beck (a man he BARELY knows) with ease is a little extreme don't you think? In the comics and Spider-Man 2, when Peter wanted to quit being Spider-Man, his intentions was to quit FOR GOOD. Holland on the other hand only wants to be Spider-Man when he feels like it. Some hero

The movie should've just had him quit being Spider-Man all together.

Another thing, Peter was 20 in Spider-Man 2.
