Spotted some more titles coming up in my Amazon recommendations:
Skin (Lionsgate) - it's an A24 title in the US that I don't believe has been released in the US yet, so should be seeing a US BD or BD-R from Lionsgate also maybe in 2020? Released today Balloon (StudioCanal) - caught this in the cinema and it's a thrilling tale about evading the borders of the Berlin Wall in the DDR during the Cold War Teen Spirit (Lionsgate) - October 14th The Chambermaid - October 14th Marianne & Leonard: Words of Love (Dogwoof) - October 14th Support the Girls (Bulldog) - October 21st Photograph (Curzon Artificial Eye) - October 28th Gwen (Bulldog) - November 11th Country Music: A Film By Ken Burns (PBS) - December 9th Some other recent releases: The Keeper, Beats, Tucked |

The irony is that, as with numerous titles, Universal is releasing Booksmart for eOne in Australia next week, surely with the exact same disc that they would have released in the UK:
![]() Whoops, sorry. Had not seen this before I posted about the German disc. This is pretty much the only reason I demand to see the film on Blu-ray. ![]() |

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but the 1979 film Scavenger Hunt never got a release in the UK either on blu-ray or DVD. Not sure who owns the rights to distribute that movie.

You're right, not sure why I wrote it as a steelbook! Either way, it's good to see Upgrade finally get a UK bluray release.

Gavin Hood’s biopic about whistleblower Katharine Gun - leaking an internal memo during the lead-up to the Iraq War - Official Secrets (eOne) - starting an all-star British cast of Keira Knightley, Matt Smith, Ralph Fiennes, and other familiar faces like Indira Varma, Tasmin Greig, Rhys Ifans and Hattie Morahan - is up for preorder as DVD only.
Looks like The Goldfinch will be DVD only as well. STX’s smartphone horror Countdown is also DVD only. Last edited by CelestialAgent; 10-29-2019 at 03:05 PM. |

Besides, the film series was the complete adaptation of the source novel and it didn't really feel like it needed a follow-up. |
