Other than The Boy Who Turned Yellow from Indicator, and the four "Saturday Morning Pictures" collections from Network, I'm not sure anyone else has released any. (Not counting all the BFI releases, obviously)

The following have been released on DVD in Germany:-
Valley of the Kings, Five on a Treasure Island, Five Clues to Fortune, Beware of the Dog, The Carringford School, The Young Jacobites and Secret in the Mine. All have English audio with non-removable German subs. |

When I used to go to Saturday Morning Pictures (as we used to call it), the second half of the fifties & early sixties, I loved the serials. I liked the American ones best (Phantom Empire, King Of The Rocket Men, Flash Gordon ect.), but I also liked the CFF. There's only two I can remember now, Go Kart Go, & my favourite, Five Clues to Fortune, with a very young David Hemmings, I don't think that one's been released yet.

I would be surprised if their edition doesn't outshine the Twilight Time version in the on disc extras department, even if it's only by the inclusion some broadly related by subject matter shorts from their archives. |

^^
The only reason i bought Town On Trial was for the CFF film Adventure In The Hopfields & it was money well spent! |

Due to the circumstances of it's making and events post-release Akenfield really should have been part of the BFI's Flipside Collection but I guess for a couple of reasons it wasn't included, they being there already turned out to be four other Flipside releases scheduled for Q3 and Q4 that year and the BFI probably wanting to tie it in with their other two easier sell british rural life titles of that year: A Month In the Country (Colin Firth's finest hour?) and the more difficult yet ultimately rewarding On the Black Hill. |
