This is one I would welcome them taking another shot at. I hated the first one. I think a Daredevil movie should be a martial arts movie, something like Kill Bill.

One of the major villans in the comic is a group of ninja assassins called The Hand. I just always pictured a Daredevil movie playing like a Kung Fu flick.

i HATED this movie, and i am not a comic book fan by any means, but i have picked up some geek knowledge along the way and correct me if i am wrong, but didn't daredevil get trained by another blind man, and old bum like dude or something, that taught him how to fight and use his others senses

this movie had him go blind and suddenly he is a bad ass! that didn't kill the movie for me, the movie killed the movie for me, but that was one pet peeve of mine with it. I could care less if they reboot of not with this one, but if they don't please please don't make anymore.

Elektra came off really low rent to me, don't know ANYTHING about this character, but the movie just seemed to have no direction on where it wanted to go.

Your right about the blind man. The character was called Stick. He showed up(Terrance Stamp) in the Elektra movie but they changed him for the movie. They made him nice in the movie but he was a mean old bas--rd in the comics.
I guarantee you if the right people get their hands on this material they could make a great movie out of it.

I enjoyed the Daredevil movie. However, the director's cut made the story more complete. This is the problem with studios futzing around with a director's vision of a movie. What usually ended up happening is an incomplete story in a theatrical version.

I wouldn't mind a reboot of Daredevil as well as Elektra. I also don't have a problem with a sequel whether with Ben Affleck or not. Daredevil is one of those comic hero that can be dark if the studio decide to go Dark Knight with him. It can work unlike trying to pull this off with other inherently lighter toned heroes such as the FF. As far as Elektra goes, Jennifer Garner was and is perfect for the character. The problem there was a bad story.

Also, I would prefer that Marvel character options revert back to Marvel Entertainment. I'd like to see them in control of their comic properties. This way they can make good superhero movies using their comic writers as advisors and consultants to keep the movies true to the source materials. Movie distribution rights can go to any studios that Marvel can negotiate with.

I liked the movie enough to buy it. I don't have a problem with Ben as DD, but Bullseye was a lame character or just the way it was portrayed. If they come out with another DD , I'll bite.

I'd watch a reboot as long as Farrell isn't in it, he was absolutely horrible in the original. I'm not an Affleck fan but Farrell made him seem like a great star in comparison.
