Green Book was not the same subject as this movie. What on earth were you watching to think that was the case. The only similarities was dealing with race but two movies in different eras and different parts of the country with completely different stories. And lol at Green Book being very American. What subject are they about in your opinion? Seems like they're both about race relations. Green Book is very Capraesque, a bit of a social fairy tale with a happy ending. It says let's be friends and have a Merry Christmas. Blackkklansman is more of a Eisenstein type of film and calls for division and civil war.

I was not a fan of the movie and found the ending very odd. I’m a huge Lee fan but it just didn’t do it for. My wife and I felt the same about it, actually she hated it. BUT I have the urge to watch it again for some reason. Perhaps my 2nd viewing will be better.

err they were marching around chanting "Jews will not replace us!" and celebrating memorials put up by the Daughters of the Confederacy (which was a post-war propaganda group of daughters from, mostly formerly rich families, upset that they would not get to be rich girls slaved over by slaves every second of the day and pushing the "Lost Cause" propagandist take on the Civil War (the South had been moral and just in it's cause and, sure they lost, but simply because they had fewer industrial resources than the immoral North and that the slaves were all happy and very well treated and loved being looked after ever so, etc.) and it was used to strip away the land given to freed slaves after the war and set in decades of Jim Crow, lynchings, etc. they would celebrate lynchers and take photos with hung bodies and smilingly proudly beneath them) and some decent number of them were part of modern KKK and other such groups

To be fair this release is not that new, released in May.

The slipcovers were still available at Walmart on Black Friday but were in poor condition. I took my chances and ordered it from Amazon and got a pristine slipcover instead. They are still out there.
