being a part of the Monsterverse wasn't a big surprise but the confirmation in this way actually has me a little more intrigued even if we don't have quite a solid, detailed look at the design yet. I'd say we're a few months away from that. This seems to be squaring up with my hunch that given it's very likely this'll be the last gasp of the series, I'd rather them go full 100% crazy and say 'sod it' than hold back on potentially 'alienating' ideas.

[Show spoiler]Perhaps even more so than Mecha G, I'm interested from the toy shots as to whether Kong's mad armour and axe outfit is a given in the film and moreover the possibly bio-mechanical dorsal fin/harness on Godzilla dubbed on the packaging as 'Mega Godzilla' being also a major element. Bring on the madness I say, especially given my favourite human characters are no longer present, thanks Dougherty.
