Default Newd question about speaker wire

I just buy some speaker wire to connect my speaker to my receiver, but I'm not sure about something.
There's one side silver color and the other side is copper color, does it makes a difference which one I plug to the + or - ?

no. what matters is that you use the same color for the same polarity for so you dont cross the - from speaker to + on receiver. thats a no no

It doesn't really matter, most people use the copper for the + side. Mostly it helps you to know which is the positive and which is negative
