Australia Is ezydvd.com.au (Australian on line shop) reliable?

That's a question I'm asking to our Australian friends or anybody that have ordered imported BD's from them.
They have for preorder the separate Star Wars UHD BD's at a price of 20.97 AU $, that's 12.99 Euros or 14.02 US $,that's a bargain.
I've ordered from JB Hi Fi, another Australian on line shop and prices are great and the orders take between a week to10 days to arrive to Spain, and shipping is not expensive. But JB Hi Fi doesn't have the Star Wars UHD BD's up for preorder yet.
As I've never ordered from Ezydvd before I'd like toknow if they are reliable. I don't know if they ship to Spain either, but chances are they do.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I used ezydvd now and then in the past and had no issues, but they don't ship internationally anymore AFAIK.

Yes. They've changed ownership once or twice, but they've been around a long time. I would have no hesitation in ordering from them again.

If you are willing to wait a few weeks you will find that all the Australian Media stores will show these movies for a similar price.
EZYDVD is always very early with their preorder list.
but over the past few years I have discovered that you can usually do better than them if you wait till the other stores also show the movies.
remember the release date is the same for all stores.
EZYDVD is just much faster at displaying what is coming soon.

So I better wait for JB Hi Fi to get their preorders upand order from them, something I've done in the past with great results, prices are great compared to Spain and for asingle movie I didn't have to pay Import Fees.
I've been running some numbers and even if I order the movies I want (the OT trilogy and Rogue One) one by one, each of them as an individual order to avoid a big parcel that will catch Spanish' Customs atention, they will be cheaper than ordering individual releases from the US or the UK in the case this really happens as of now we only have preorders on those countries for the full Skywalker Saga and there are movies that I don't want to see again or own twice, like The Phantom Menace or Attack Of The Clones,The Last Jedi or Rise Of Skywalker.
Thanks again you all for your replies.

Honestly, I've found eBay often has the best prices for Australian discs, or amazon.co.uk under certain circumstances. It depends but I usually go there instead of trying to deal with JB HiFi (they charge VAT, which is unnecessary unless you live in Australia, and shipping is pricey). It's unfortunate that EzyDVD no longer ships internationally. They were my go-to for awhile.

I thought if you contacted JB HiFi they would refund the VAT? at least I am sure I have read that posted on here before.

I suppose it couldn't hurt to ask. I've never tried.

Yes, just message them after it's sent and ask for a GST refund.

I believe Sanity.com.au is a pretty good website for all your physical media needs, you can get all 5 of the latest Pixar UHD pre-orders for just over £70 delivered to the UK, might even be cheaper for anyone outside the EU, albeit they are one-disc releases, so no extras.

It seem that I spoke too soon.
The other Australian online websites have now also put these movies available for pre-order.
but none can match the EZYDVD prices for these movies.

Have you used these? Or has anyone else?
I just put 12 Pixar 4K’s in a basket and it would work out at around £150 before shipping. Which is magnificent considering there’s no sign they’re coming out in the U.K. anytime soon.

I’m tempted to pull the trigger but would love to know people’s experience with them before I do....

I can't speak for international/online orders, but Sanity as a company is perfectly fine.

I’ve taken a punt and ordered four of them (Nemo, Dory, Inside Out, and Ratatouille). Came to $100 AUD - so about £50 (including international shipping). Will see how I get on!

Discs arrived today. Well packaged. Two weeks door to door. No slips, but cover art looks lovely. Certs on the spines barely noticeable.

Will order Up, Monsters Inc, Bug’s Life and Wall-E this afternoon. All in 2 for $50 AUD. Which works out at about £25.

So basically fifty quid for four brand new Pixar UHD’s. Can’t fault it.

Thumbs up for Sanity.

*note. The Australian catalogue Pixar titles are 1 disc UHD only. So if you’re after a bundled Blu-ray with all the special features then look elsewhere. I would imagine most of you have already got the Blu-ray’s though.

yes u def can i was one of the first ones who figured it out and reported it in one of the retail forums. first time i contacted them they denied the request for the tax refund saying everyone was required to pay it. i had to link them to a page on the aussy gov website showing them that people outside of the country should not be charged for this. ever since they have never gave an issue with refunding the gst. they did say when i first reported it to them they would look into setting it up to do it auto but its never happened ive bought it up a couple times since and they said its hard to do my guess is they just don't want do it so they can keep any money for people who don't know.
