However when I come home, sit on my couch, and watch a movie on my TV I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. Movies and games still look fantastic to me. That's all that matters. I didn't feel like I watched a "lesser" version of Joker on my 1080p plasma than I did on my friend's 4K Samsung QLED.
And normally I wouldn't care either....just with the new Apple TV the menus look horrendous on TV's that can't do HDR - yes, I eventually found the setting to change it to non-HDR.

Anyone have advice on how much to sell, where to sell a vt60 with minor burn in?

Its a great tv but I rather go 4k and the burn in is annoying when you watch light daytime stuff.

How bad is the burn in? Have you tried the pixel flipper on the Disney WOW disc?

My gf played Super Metroid on my VT60 once for a few hours and the HUD was burned in pretty bad. A few hours of the pixel flipper cleared it up. You might be able to score a few more bucks for the TV if you can clear up the burn in

Well anytime I play a game or leave something on a menu for 5 mins, it has slight image retention and goes away. However the PS controller logo and disc logo have remained there for a year now. I have tried many tricks like using youtube videos with white noise, the colored bars, just a white screen.

Nothing. Haven't tried the Disney WOW disc trick but not sure if I have that disc either.

If you can't get rid of the burn-in images using a set of full screen single color images run on auto repeat over a 24 hour run, they're there for good. It's pretty tough to sell a plasma tv, even a high end Panny like the VT60 with icon/image burn-in for more than a few hundred bucks.

I recently bought a excellent condition 55" VT60 with literally just a few hundred hours on it and only paid $400. And I spent a month looking at several 65" VT50's and VT60's close to the same price in excellent condition from private sellers, none priced over $600 but I wasn't looking for such a behemoth just for a spare in the bedroom.

I've had a weird issue pop up. Since my setup was built around my HDCRT I've had my ST60 on a stand in front of my CRT stand ad receiver. Suddenly one day the voice coil diaphragm on my Klipsch tower went out and I replaced it. Then the same thing has happened to my center. They've been fine for years and I've babied them.

Is there something plasma related that can cause speakers to blow their tweeters out? I have heard a slight frequency noise when watching with headphones plugged into my receiver and the plasma is on (onkyo txnr626, Senn hd380pros)
