And yet.. with all the directors and talent agents and consumers and businesses complaining to them up the wazooo... I don't know how long they will hold out on this.

Well, if Paramount does bow to pressure, this would turn out to be a serious "counter-attack" to the HD-DVD camp and shows that Blu-ray is indeed the format winner not only in sales but in consumer sentiment, regardless of price.
