At the end of the day, I just want to see giant monsters fight on screen. I dint go for the human story, I embrace the mayhem. Even movies like Rampage, Pacific Rim, even Colossal all scratch that itch. I can’t honestly say I ever hated a giant monster movie (ok Pacifuc Rim Uprising came close) I’m excited about GvK, I think I’ll be getting what I want in this movie.

Same here - I've enjoyed all three so far, some more than others and yeah, KotM was the weakest but it was still good old fashioned monster mayhem and that's what I want out of these. Hell, I still get a kick out of the b&w classics with models, rubber suit monsters and out of sync dialog because it's just guilty pleasure F-U-N...now with these new titles it's still cheesy but we're getting incred visuals and sounds to go with the silliness, so what's the harm?

Neither. Both of them I find are cool in their own way. Besides, I've been around this forum long enough to cross paths with genuinely annoying people (and in some cases downright rude). These two are saints in comparison, at least based on my experiences.

I have to say that I've enjoyed all three films, so far, as well. I don't know about any one else, but Ghidora looked way far more menacing than he ever did in the Toho films. I'd also love to see a more direct sequel to Kong: Skull Island. I don't consider Kong vs Godzilla to be a true sequel (although I'm excited to see it in theaters).

The MonsterVerse can continue with Kong since he's not a Toho property. I don't see why we couldn't have movies with Kong between K:SI and the KvG timeline and moving forward (if he survives )

Rumored runtime of only 1 hour and 45 mins. Interesting.

Which is fine, hopefully it means it's lean and and mean. Though if it's good I'm going to feel a bit short changed.

With Bond now being in November, it would make sense for WB to move this up to September or October. I'm sure it'll be in the can by then.

October sounds about right. They can release the first trailer in April, six months ahead of time. Plenty of lead-up.

But I'll take September. Hell, I'll take tomorrow. The sooner the better.

Regardless of when they release the movie, as long as it is good, and makes money, then I will be good.

If GvK plans on making $$$ and not bombing like KOTM, its going to have to move up 1 or 2 months.

It'll have tight competition with Venom 2 in October and WB has Conjuring 3 in September so either they'll keep it in November or push it back even later to 2021.

It was an ongoing joke on the fourm. It started when people posted stock photos of random objects in the Funny Picture thread until the mods became spoilsports and gave warning and bans to anyone to posted it in that thread.

Admittingly I was the one who posted the stock photos in the Box Office thread (at least I think I did) because it was flying sky-high off the rails. As I result, I was banned from it.

Push Conjuring 3 back to Hallow'een and give GvK the Labor Day weekend slot.

I like the runtime. More showings plus the opportunity to have an extended cut on the uhd disc. Speaking of extended cut...when Godzilla '14 (on TNT tonight in a few minutes) gets a uhd release I'd love to see the supposed longer version which includes the Akira Takarada scene.
