Sorry but To Catch a Thief needs a UHD release at this point, not another bluray reissue, even a nice one like this.

If I had to make a wildly uneducated guess, all of these will use 4K restorations and will be made available in 4K digitally. As far as the likely titles, I think the titles listed with 4K DCPs at Park Circus are a good starting point: https://www.parkcircus.com/explore_f...udio=Paramount (the link doesn't work correctly so you have to manually chose "4K DCP" from the "Format" drop down list). |

I’m also glad “Airplane!” is getting a remaster. I re-watched the Paramount disc recently and it’s decent for an older master but there’s room for improvement. I wonder if a remastered “Ferris’s Bueller’s Day Off” will appear in the line and the supposed Criterion that John Kapelos let slip years ago got canned.

Besides what's already been mentioned (C'mon Roman Holiday!), I'd like to throw in a mention for The Shootist and Paint Your Wagon.
The Shootist because it's a good film, Paint Your Wagon because it's not. But both should be available on Blu. |

Fantastic news. Much better announcement than their recent "BD-R reissue" line...

Keeping my fingers crossed for Blu-rays derived from the 4K scans of A Place in the Sun and Romeo and Juliet (1968) (there are existing DCPs), as well as Roman Holiday.

Wow, didn't see this coming! So now we have Scream Factory with a Paramount deal; Imprint Australia with a Paramount deal; and now Paramount is going to release their own product as well?
It's going to be a another guessing game for us consumers as to who is going to release what. But another quality entity is always welcome. ![]() |

The blu-ray took the extras from the Centennial Collection release, but they dropped a previously available commentary with Peter Bogdanovich and Laurent Bouzereau.
