You might want to stop picking on Kip and start working on yourself because it appears that you need it to post something so brazenly delusional, like that this forum hasn’t clearly devolved from actually being a genuine appreciation forum to a pretty consistently pervy one.

He takes it to the next level. Claiming ownership over a woman isn't right, whether it's malicious or not.

If it were me I'd have this entire section shutdown, it's a bad look for the forum.

It’s just his way of expressing himself and it’s utterly harmless. If I thought he actually believed he was thinking he wanted or would have ownership over any woman, I wouldn’t defend him. I don’t think he’s being disrespectful, he simply loves movies and certain stars in a bit of an excessive way but he’s not doing anything maliciously and occasionally he doesn’t always word things particularly well but it’s pretty obvious he’s trying to be funny in his own way and unless he ever gets misogynistic or mean, I think we can cut him some slack after years of knowing that’s just how he expresses his excitement for some people.

Now the straight out Pervy posts are a horrible look and I’m surprised mods haven’t even tried to stop some of it. Hollywood actresses are obviously what we all would typically consider to be more attractive than the average person. The pictures are simply things out in public anyway used to promote the celebs but you would think more people would actually discuss their appreciation for these actresses and their talents and upcoming projects instead of make pervy comments about their breasts or saying they’ll need a box of Kleenex type stuff, which is just disgusting and it happens a lot. Not sure what’s worse, that or some of the real meanness that goes on in the movie thread when people can’t agree to disagree.

Kip is definitely not a problem on these forums and picking on him is unnecessary and just kinda mean.

I clearly said I hadn’t found any pervy posts in this topic. I’m sure in other appreciation threads there are pervy posts, but I don’t actively look at every thread.

As for working on myself that’s the last thing I need to do. You can white knight, and defend Kip all you want but that just makes you as delusional as he is.

And call what he posts jokes all you want. I don’t see anyone liking the posts I questioned, or saying he’s funny. Clearly a good deal of us find it off putting, and like he should give it a rest.

If he’s not well adjusted enough to react better to my simply taking issue with his post without calling me a dillhole or saying my head is up my ass then maybe he should stop frequenting this site and forum. Hell maybe he should give up social media in general.

I didn’t say anything terrible to or about him until he made that comment (and no saying he should go back to the Jennifer Lawrence thread isn’t terrible).

Seriously just shut up now. We’re all “different” in some way. None of us on here have the same life experiences as everyone else, or the same living circumstances. Heck I’ve experienced more loss already in my life than most, and a few injuries along the way, but you don’t see me crying or trying to post things like what I was offended by.

But yeah sure we’re trying to shame him. As for his head being in the clouds if you’re so close to him why don’t you explain to him that maybe once in awhile he should think before posting? Kip has plenty of people here who appreciate him for the little weirdo that he is and if you can’t accept that not everyone needs to conform to what you think is normal, Mr. Special, than it is you that should refrain from using the Internet.

If you don’t like what he has to say or how he expresses himself, you do know there’s an ignore feature and simply the ability to skip over his posts, all possible without attacking him or bullying him because he’s different?

Plenty of people here DO accept him as he his and enjoy having him here on the forum. And you really should cut it out with the generalizations about no pervy posts and “a good deal of us” find it off putting. What exactly is “a good deal of us?” You have, like, a number or percentage? Or do you really mean some people like you and a few others who have no problem criticizing others for being different but can’t possibly see any fault in themselves? But I did want to mention one of the dumber things you posted about people not criticizing celebrity couples because they don’t feel one or the other is worthy. I’m not saying it’s right but it literally happens all the damn time by people not named Kip.

A current example. Affleck and de Armas. And the list of couples this goes on with, both inside and outside of this forum, is massive. Looks to me like you’re out of touch with reality (I don’t believe for a second you’ve never seen the pervy posts) or you just want to pick fights especially with someone you think is weaker. How BIG of you.

The Affleck and de Armas pair seemed to be going under the radar (on here, not in general) until your bestie brought it up, and started referencing how people should “hate Ben more now”. I agree in other forms of social media it’s widely talked about, but it has nothing to do with appreciating Ana in any way.

If I went and had the time to look and post all the examples of the mean, hateful, misogynistic (mostly in the movie forum), juvenile, etc posts in this forum, I would have to make it my full time job.

You want to go and be the “normal adult” police and I assure that’s a futile exercise where you might not only fail but not come across as perfect as you think.

Honestly, most people don’t defend Kip like I do. I just hate hypocrites and bullies. Most either accept him as he is or just ignore him. He’s different like Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory but without the being a genius part. I can’t understand why some of you, a minority to be sure, would choose to pick on him and twist his comments around as if you think he’s a serial killer.
