They would have been smarter just to include it as a PDF instead of using the ridiculous fat case it came in. The script booklet is so heavy it broke the plastic clips that hold it in shipping. Would much rather have had it in those nice clear plastic cases they're using now.

Still...both Tony Hancock films for £11.50? A total steal.

Is there an actual page for the Buy One Get One Free titles?

I have just spent along time (slow website) putting stuff in the trolley to see whether it is in or out...

Ended up just getting the two Hancocks as nothing else seemed to match.

As I understand it, it's anything on the The British Film page. Not everything in the range though, but the ones that aren't aren't showing on the page.

Of course, Rubber Duck was the role Clive Brook was born to play. The man lived his life like the toughest damn two-fisted hard drinkin' country and western trucker you ever did see:

I placed multiple orders to keep the price down and half have arrived (though one might be a duplicate due to a glitch). The first two come out of quarantine on saturday.

Clive Brook (1946) - YouTube
Just watched Convoy its very much in the vein of In Which We Serve but not as good. Much pluck and stiff upper lip from the officers and chirpy salt of the earth tars save the day. Nice to see a fresh faced Stuart Grainger and Michael Wilding and an almost young John Laurie plus we get to see Mr Grimsdale (Edward Chapman) going down with his ship.

The Lilliputians strike again! No Kidding, Punch and Judy Man and Gonks Go Beat (yes, I did) all come with reproduction press books - but all so small that you can't read them (in places the text is just two point).

Gonks Go Beat is almost worth it for the Graham Bond Organisation alone.

Mark Kermode called it "the Plan 9 from Outer Space of film musicals". As I'm not really a musical fan & have not see Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space, is this any good? Better or worse than the Ed Wood film?
