I was leaning towards holding off on these, but if they are included in B2G1 it will be hard to resist!

That was my worry too if the sale was too soon. But it does not exclude "Star Wars" in the fine print. Just new releases. Which they aren't next week.

That's actually kinda odd timing.

Literally everything related to STAR WARS (save for the infamous Holiday Special) has come to home video. There’s simply no reason, based on evidence, to fear THE MANDALORIAN will be an exception.

Yeah but given Disney's need to drive those subscriber numbers they night follow a Netflixy model and wait like a year before releasing it on disc.

Of that, I have no doubt. That’s why I said patience is a virtue.

Online option, or are they going to insist on customers doing 'The Viral Slalom' with an in-store only deal? Link with deets?

Thanks!

So is anyone finding the vudu stream to provide better picture quality than the discs? It could be my Xbox one x but the difference is noticeable!

Still wanting more people to chime in if the Disney+ stream is better or worse. If it’s just a little worse are the discs worth $20-$30 a pop ($20 if they are included in Target’s sale next week).

I didn't realize that I could play it through my Oppo 203 until I saw your post...so thanks! I was having trouble (audio issues) before when trying to play it through the VLC Media Player on my computer when connecting to my AVR, so I sort of gave up. I never bothered learning about all of the Oppo's functionality beyond playing discs.

Empire has that weird Iron Man/Iron Man 2 grainless, fuzzy-detailed look. Lots of frozen grain and noise too. What happened?!

I think Vudu is the best streaming in 4k. The Disney 4K stream looks like the Blu-ray to me.

Disney+ and MA seem to be tied for the best streaming quality, from what I've read.

VUDU's quality has taken a nosedive over the years. Apple and Movies Anywhere are the best options for streaming your digital movies IMO.

File sizes on Vudu are still larger than Apple.
