I have a mental image of Mickey Mouse the size (and with the demeanor) of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.

Above the text box. As Dailyan said, though, it's only available if you click "Post Reply" or "Go Advanced" under the quick reply, it's not available in the quick reply box.

It's next to the spoiler icon, but before the # icon when your typing up a post in the advanced mode (not quick reply).

Or you can manually type the tags in too:

[BD]xxxxxx[/BD]

Thank you both for the information! I can at least type in the BD tag when I make a post, no problem. Though---and I know I'm likely sounding like an idiot here---I STILL can't find a "BD" icon, nor even a "spoiler" icon. This is what I get when I click on "Go Advanced" to make a post:

Weird. What browser are you using?

Edit: I think I see the issue, you need to use the Blu-ray style. At the bottom left of the page (Quick Style), change the Style from Default or Classic to Blu-ray.

Using Chrome, but---yep, you are correct! Clicking on "blu-ray style" at the extreme lower left of the screen fixed the problem---thanks!

I just watched “Short Night of a Glass Dolls” again. I’d previously owned the DVD many moons ago. At first watch it might be a bit of a head scratcher...but it comes together after watching it again...or listening to the wonderful commentary. Think of Poe and Rosemary’s Baby mashed up in a film!

The Barefoot Contessa is a beautifully made film. I cherish the Blu-ray.

You made some excellent choices! Julia (1977) is one of my favorite films of all time. I've seen it at least a dozen times on the big screen, and probably two dozen times on cable and home video. The performances are absolutely exquisite, including the Oscar-winning turns by Vanessa Redgrave and Jason Robards. Jane Fonda and Maximilian Schell were also nominated (Fonda should have won), and Meryl Streep makes an auspicious debut in a brief but memorable bit as a supercilious social climber with a dark secret that is revealed by her drunken brother (played by John Glover). I love Georges Delerue's majestic score (why has it never been released as a soundtrack?) and Douglas Slocombe's sparkling photography, and Fred Zinnemann's direction is faultless. I'm really shocked that this one hasn't sold out long ago. I personally bought two copies, so I would have a spare "just in case." You'll have to post your thoughts once you've watched it. Enjoy!

Glad I'm not the only one.

Done this for a very small number of my favourite films, including TT's Our Man in Havana.

I have duplicates of everything Gene Tierney starred in, as well as backup copies of a few other of my personal favorites. I store them in a bedroom of my house that's built into the back of a hill. I happened to sleep in that room the night that a tornado completely demolished my neighbor's barn and corral right across the road. That room is so secure and protected that I never heard a thing.

I've been keeping more dupes for pretty much the same reason of having a backup and/or I enjoy the film a lot (in fact, I ordered my third copy of "The Manchurian Candidate" recently). I also find it interesting to compare different releases whether it be unique extras, audio tracks, and/or different presentations.
