Default Look at it this way: 7 epic sci-fi movies on the way...

...and they're all exclusive to Blu-Ray:

1. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
2. Independence Day
3. Starship Troopers
4. Robocop

Now all I need is Alien/Aliens from Fox. Who needs Transformers?

I do, but not on anything short of BD50 with PCM...so Paramount can wait that 18 months to have my $24.

Looking forward to this one. While it doesn't really compare or resemble much of the classic story from Asimov (other than the laws), it definitely stands on it's own as an action flick. The dvd already looks great as it is so I can't wait to see it in Blu.

Default RoboCop

If I am not mistaken RoboCop was just remasted and re-released on DVD this week. In fact I think Roeper and guest had some great things to say about this remasted release. Let's hope that Fox puts its best effort for the Blu-ray release. I am psyched

Close Encounters is awesome. The others aren't worth watching.

If RoboCop isn't the uncut version, I'm not buying it.

It is a very good movie and should have appealed to people far beyond sci-fi as the human story is excellent. I would buy the BD for sure.

Blu ray still has the advantage, but the whole situation is still hurting the consumer by limiting our choices.
