Theatrical cut of Enter The Dragon will have the original English mono, while the longer SE cut will have the 5.1 mix that sports the infamous dubbing of Lee in that one section.

Yeah, I bought the Enter the Dragon blu with A Warrior's Journey when it first came out but then missed out on the Shout releases. I am going to spend a fortune in July at B&N. So many great releases in the last year....

Get a license agreement from Criterion and money from the 4K release later on.

I believe something similar happened with the Godzilla box where Toho kept the 4K masters for themselves and only licensed older HD masters to Criterion, so I guess it's possible the same thing is happening here with Enter the Dragon.

Still, since it's a new 2K restoration for the Theatrical version, it could still look very good.

EDIT: Also, knowing Warners, it's quite possible that any UHD coming from them would only have the Special Edition and only with 5.1 audio, so the Theatrical here with mono makes the box still quite attractive.

Theatrical cut of ENTER with original mono is the real star here.

I just hope the other films are done proper and colour corrected as per Shout's releases.

Also hope that the new subs are well-translated and timed to the Mandarin versions (I contacted Criterion about doing them but they never even got back to me. Rude cocks).

If I buy these titles yet again, this time in a pricey box set, then they're gonna have to be pretty much perfect.

The cover art is shit. But you knew that...

Pre-ordered! Did it thru amazon (no doubt the price will drop). If I keep up on my bing rewards and Swagbucks hoping I can knock this price gradually!

I would really love to see his pre-70s film get some sort of English friendly release. Esepashlly Thunderstorm

If these don't have any compression problems like Police Story 2, then this will be great.

It seems that the criterions will include lossless mono for all of Bruce Lees films which imo is the main reason apart from the extras like the original cut of enter the dragon

I haven't got any of Bruce's films on Blu yet. Looks like I'll finally be retiring my DVDs...

I'll hang on to ETD for the Warrior's Journey doc (doesn't seem to be included in the Criterion set) and for the killer original poster art.

Usually when I see 'Greatest Hits', I think of Abba.

What does excite me with Criterion is the prospect of new transfers of assets from analogue.

Perhaps the specifications are not finalised and there's more to come?

Aside from the two compilation movies and the Batman episodes, Green Hornet has never had a legitimate home video release.

If "Game of Death Redux" depicts footage from "A Warrior's Journey" finally on HD (2K), this is a must buy for me and any Lee fan all around the world.

the compilation movies are kind of questionable in terms of being legit at least in the US,
