When are you usually on PSN? I have a newer prototype now...my 4th actually! I never seem to catch you when I'm in LBP though. I'd prefer to take you to my workshop level in my moon and explain it to you myself (BTW, do you have a headset?) but I could also send the captured prototype for you to open in an empty level, if you want?

Does anyone know where I can find the notes to the song used in the first level of Flower? Also, when using the sound objects for piano, which notes are which? When you use the sliding scale to modify the sound, is C on the far left, dead center, or somewhere else?

I have a music scale - notes with "A", "B" "C", labeled. I can put that in my test-lab later tonight for you if you'd like. . . . if I still have it. . . . now that I think of it, I might have gotten rid of it.

Either way - just get a little keyboard and use it to "tune" your LBP keys and label them.

I'll look tonight and see if I have the pre-made one for you.

It greatly depend on my baby and girl friend schedule... and sadly when my girl friend isn't there, the baby seems to be even more angry than my gf about me spending time on my ps3

But usually I play 6:30 to 7:30 am Atlantic time and sometime around 9PM to 10PM and usually weekend mornings... So maybe its best you send me your prototype or published it locked and send me the key. I'll try to send you my prototype (even though I don't like the look that much but at least now its working every time...)

And yes I have an head set but never use it on my ps3 yet. So I don't know if it works well. And I have to warn you that It comes with a subtle accent...

If you still have it, that would be sooo helpful!

I'm not very musically talented. I did find the guitar tabs online, but I don't speak Tab.

is the "Atlantic" time zone the same as "Eastern"? I'm Pacific, and it's 12:30 here. What time is it there?

PS: Accents are awesome!

Very funny!!! But by the way tab is quite easy... the lines are the guitar strings and the numbers are the fret number... so tab are for those who don't speak music language...

I sent you my latest prototype (which doesn't have score bubbles yet...the old one on my moon does) and a tree for the end of the level. Instructions are in the PSN messages with each item, read fist, because once you DL the item, the rest of the message disappears.

Hopefully I'll see you online soon so we can discuss more

Hey guys, (Stephie and fsavoie), let me know if those music blocks workout.

Remember, I didn't create them so I can't vouch for how well done/correct they are.

Anyone else get annoyed at the comments left on your levels (and many other levels in general).

On Puzzle Wheels II, I get those comments like, "H4H", and "Play my ___ level!"

My problem with those comments is - that is all they say! At least comment on the level. Sometimes I'll leave a comment for someone to try my level, but only if I think they might like it, based on the level they created.

I usually say something like, "Awesome level! Love use of lights. Really well done. Play my Puzzle Wheel level if you'd like."

Anyway, another thing I think that is funny is when people level the "H4H" on levels with 40,000+ plays.

Personally, I am more interested in plays and comments than hearts. People don't seem to heart levels much these days. I feel more proud when someone leaves a glowing comment vs. a heart.

I havent tried the music box yet. I'll tell you when I will.

About the H4H they are great to have the author trophy fast (I did it even though I'm a bit ashame of it...) but yeah that is a bit stupid to ask people who clearly doesn't need heart for h4h... And I also wished that people left more comments... mainly when there are bugs in the level!

I always try people levels of those who are leaving constructive comments so that is a better way than just say "play my level"!

I've worked on lighting yesterday... and I've just realised that proximity switch doesnt work on lights? Thats stupid! I guess key switch is working? thats how people is doing it? a key on a piston that is activated with a proxi switch? (I didnt tried it yet 'cause "baby boy" was playing with my blu-ray remote when I was working on my level.... and he pressed eject... and was too pissed off to go back in the level (which wasnt saved....)).

The proximity switch works just fine on lights.

You can get them to turn on, or off, or slowly grow brighter or dimmer, etc.

Not sure why it didn't work for you.

Not sure if you remember, on Puzzle Wheels II when going up the ramp to the last wheel, different colored lights brighten and fade as you walk up. That uses proximity switches set on "speed".

I don't know really "how" you could do it wrong. Just connect the green switch.

I've used them on every type of light.

Would it let you connect it at all? Or does it just make that little buzzing sound when you try to do something that doesn't work?

no when i click on the light with the green cable, there is the buzzing sound and the cable don't stay connect.

But now that I think more, i as using a proxi switch that I've copy from one of stephie's "module" (instead of going in my popit menu and all...) maybe thats why? even though i use the same copied proxi swith elsewhere that worked...anyway i'll try again tonight.

I hate that too. I think those make up 99% of the comments I've gotten in the last few months (probably about 5 comments total, ). I might be in for my weekly level republishing today (although it's gotten to the point where it's more like a bi-weekly thing).

Sometimes I feel like I miss the days when LBP was new and fresh. I still think about making a new level, but it just doesn't seem the same like it'd be the same as those first few nights where I spent hours trying to get things to work.

I think the Wizard of Oz coming out on BD will re-launch my interest in making that mini-series of levels. I should probably see what else is out there now, because I haven't searched for WofOZ levels in a couple months now.
