BDs That Are Out of Print (OOP)

Is Strangers On A Train (1951) out of print?
I noticed only third party sellers have it on Amazon and other retailers have it marked as "sold out" or "backordered".

Hopefully, it'll be reissued for the Warner Archive Collection.

100 Feet blu-ray seems to be going OOP. Not available from Amazon aside from a few higher priced copies from other sellers. Not many copies on eBay either, but a couple are still cheap if anyone cares. I actually liked this one and found it kind of underrated.

That’s crazy, I remember when I bought it, think it was less than $10. It’s my favorite Seagal movie so I’m glad I already own it. I wonder though if a lot of these recent ones are just out of stock instead of out of print due to the current situation.

Considering MARKED FOR DEATH is a Fox release, I can't see Disney putting a blu ray back in print any time soon.

This will be the case with most Fox titles going forward. Get them while you can if you're still into physical media. Disney won't care a damn for the Fox catalog except for sanitized versions that can go up on Disney+ sometime in the future

Which one are you asking about? There were two versions: 1946 and 1981.

Scream Factory's Poltergeist II CE is sold out and now officially OOP.

Good thing I nabbed that and the CE of III when they first came out.

It's not the Nicholson/Lange film from 1981, it's the 1946 film.

Marked For Death is still available on Blu-ray overseas, definitely surprised that went OOP.

I think it may be. I managed to snag a used copy online, but it looks like it's OOP. Hopefully Warner Archive or Criterion release it.

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) seems to also be in stock at DeepDiscount and Barnes & Noble as well. Strangers On A Train shows in stock at Barnes & Noble as well. AFAIK, any WHV Blu-ray release that goes OOP is usually reissued by WAC, with no changes overall to the actual disc contents (Although if House Of Wax (1953) was reissued by WAC, I could see the Mystery Of The Wax Museum (1933) special feature being removed, given it has its own separate release on Blu-ray via WAC)

On a related note, it looks like Warner might be having supply chain issues, as stuff seems to be erratically in stock and OOS on various websites, with even films like Casablanca and Gone With The Wind showing OOS/backordered on some sites (Amazon has both OOS and WBShop has Gone With The Wind OOS as well).

That being said, it looks like The Big Parade (1925) is completely OOP, as it now only has 1 used copy on Amazon listed for 94.95 (!!!).

Also, it looks like Little Caesar (1931) and The Petrified Forest (1936) may be going OOP soon, as Amazon shows no copies in stock, and DeepDiscount/Barnes & Noble/WBShop shows them as sold out.

I can't find a reasonably priced copy of Laura anywhere. If anyone knows where to get one let me know, otherwise I think this one is OOP as well.
