Heat - but just when they talk........haha no I just hate all the scenes with Pacino's home life and the daughter drama. I only watch the shootouts so HEAT for me is about 30 minutes long, hahaha I know BLASPHEMY!!!
I second that comment on From Dusk Till Dawn, but I usually fast forward to the very end just so I can hear the Cheech and Clooney dialogue: Cheech: I don't know, maybe they where psychos? Clooney: Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them I don't care how ****in crazy they are! |

The Vietnam half? If you're referring to the second half where they're actually in Vietnam then you're missing the best part. The boot camp segment with R. Lee Ermey and Vincent D'Onofrio is excellent. In fact I love the entire movie, one of Kubrick's finest and IMO the best war movie ever.

I actually find Dusk Till Dawn very satisfying to my inner schizo, I never can tell which half I will end up enjoying more on repeat viewings.
I only watch the second half of Death Proof now, if that counts for this thread. |

The older I get, the less tolerance I have for watching certain movies after the good parts. I used to watch every movie I would see from beginning to end, but that practice ended when I started delving into more obscure and independent releases. The only scenes from the third Matrix I still watch are the battles between the Agent and Neo.

This is blasphemous I know. When I was a kid I would only watch the very beginning of the original three Star Wars movies. A New Hope, turn off after they leave Mos Eisley. Empire Strikes Back, turn off after they leave Hoth. Return Of The Jedi, turn off after they leave Tattooine. To this day some twenty years later I still sometimes get the urge to just watch the first act.

The only movie I do this with is Blow. It's obviously a very up and down movie and I generally turn it off right after the scene where They get the coke's purity tested and sell it all in 48 hours. Both because I find that to be the funniest part of the movie and because after that it goes violently downhill and I can't stand his wife or mother because of how they act. too depressing.
