Went to a bunch of Blockbusters today to see what was new in the line up of 2 for 30$, and seen some new titles. A pile of Doomsday, Dark Knight, Burn After Reading, etc. Found a couple stores selling all three Mummy movies as well as both Scorpion King movies used. The most of any kind I found was Nick and Norah's Playlist. Every store I went to the movie made up almost 10% of the total selection of used BD's.

I picked up Pride and Glory, along with Invincible.

I wasn't too keen on getting Pride and Glory, but Invincible is one of my favorite movies and I had to find another to make the deal worthwhile.

I'm sure I'll be back to blockbuster next week to take advantage of the same deal.

I also saw The Godfather collection for 57.99. Used of course.

wow, ur collection sure is building fast with these 2 for 30 bb deals. glad to see your making use of em and picking up ones you want. looks like the bb's your visiting have much better selection than the ones in my area. godfather trilogy is rare to find used.

Well, I have to take advantage of what I can. I just started collecting this year and have a pile of releases to catch up on. Such as Transformers, Iron Man, and other large releases. I'm just patient though and inherently cheap, so when I find a deal I pounce. I will eventually slow down, as deals go away and such, but until then I'm going to reap the rewards of good prices as long as I can.

Plus, it's technically still winter and there's little to do on the Farm in the winter. Fields are still too wet now. Blu-ray fills that void until it's time to plant. Come Summer I'd doubt I'll watch a single movie from May to October. I'll buy if there's deals, but it will be unlikely I'll watch them until the snow comes blowing in again.

As far as these used BD's go, I can't pass up a good deal. Plus, making a trip into the city means I can't come back empty handed.

lol... wow, sounds cool. you sound very similar to me. when i first started out there were soo many titles i needed to catch up on owning, now im good. have everything i need and only pick up new ones that are sparsely released throughout. but your right.. i as well am inherently cheap and cant pass up a good deal. have to jump on it.

My Blockbuster here in South Dakota is now doing a 3 for 2 deal on previously viewed Blu-rays. I picked up Burn After Reading, X Files I Want to Believe, and Horton Hears a Who all for 40 dollars plus tax. That's 13.33 a movie! Of course, YMMV.
